america
we could REMOVE our politicians if we need to. either by voting in people with integrity, or by using FORCE. it might be time for fair minded people to step forward and offer to lead this country and fix its problems.

IT'S HARD TO BE BOTH TOUGH AND GREEN
here "It will be interesting to see whether Toyota can pull off this bit of PR wizardry. For some years the Japanese brand has been given a free pass by the general media when it comes to environmental image. The fact is that Toyota has plenty of fuel guzzling large trucks in its corporate line-up (the Sequoia, for example, gets no better mileage than its Motown rivals and is less fuel efficient than GM's new full-size SUV range). Seemingly unaware of such details, the press at large always picks on GM or Ford when writing about fuel thirsty vehicles. Only last summer's brief but aggressive broadside from the Bluewater Network environmental group broke the spell, by labeling Toyota's projected green image as a marketing ploy. Now, it's going to be a challenge for Toyota to spin the presence of a real truck (the 'biggest and boldest in company history') in its line-up. Can the Prius alone maintain the company's environmental image, now that other hybrid applications are increasingly aimed at performance enhancement rather than fuel economy?"

First Drive: 2007 Saturn Vue Green Line Hybrid
vue is nicer inside and is more commodious in hauling cargo. vue looks better. saturn has better customer service. the ecotec engine is way better than that toyota piece of trash under the hood. i hope this thing is a hit. the ecotec vue is already getting owners 25-30+ mpg as it is....with a hybrid, this thing should have real world numbers that match the epa numbers, UNLIKE prius. big faux pas however.......4 speed auto. It should have a CVT or at least a 5 speed auto. or a stick.

Nissan cuts SUV, truck production
"We don't have incentives like Dodge, Chevrolet and Ford," said Steve Gonzales, new car sales manager at Charlie Clark Nissan, a dealer in Harlingen, Texas. "Our incentives aren't huge." LIAR!!!!! the TITAN is one of the most heavily incetivized trucks!!!!!! look in your ads, the titan always has GM like gobs of cash on the hood, sometimes more!!!! LIAR!!!!!

Lexus Mulls Small Crossover
upright driving position with its more comfortable seating and greater road visibility.......feeling of safety being higher up........larger cargo hold than a sedan of a vehicle of the same footprint.......a feeling of ruggedness and 'go anywhere'.... mind you the SUV 'attributes' were mostly perpetrated / purported by women, but they have stuck in the market hey, all some folks want is a tall hatchback so they can see the road, sit comfy like a chair and have the cargo hold swallow stuff from their ikea and pier one trips, and get around without RWD fuss in bad weather. This just in: the idea of a sedan is outdated to many buyers these days because the sedan lacks in those areas and has 'old' 'inefficient' packaging. Ok, sedans were officially starting to be out about 7 years ago.....or more

Lexus Mulls Small Crossover
At first the X3 seemed ok. Then i sat in one. Yuck. Now I see a few more on the road, and i like them less and less, ok, almost none now. I think they X3 is a damn joke. It's a POS poseur wagon.

Lexus Mulls Small Crossover

Lexus struggles in Japan against
many of the 'rich' and successful' people in this country are real poseurs and have no real world brain, they are simply followers and simply gravitate to whatever their well to do buddies tell them to get. lots of Americans are not capable of independent thinking, and Lexus more than any other brand cultivates a legion of followers based upon marketing and little else. Maybe we are not giving the Japanese enough credit here. Maybe the bland Japanese can even recognize even when something is TOO bland. The ultimate irony. I parked next to a new Lexus GS the other day that had a dark colored interior. People rip the STS for a cheap interior...the interior of that Lexus looked horrifically cheap to me actually. Very crappy looking plastic.
