    *sound of crickets*
  5. the grand prix GXP is quicker and has a nicer interior and exterior and did not have a 40 grand sticker either. and you'd be forgetting the solstice. and I'd much rather have a GTO than a Bonne too. The GTO has one of the nicest GM interiors and 400hp under the hood. Actually the G6 GTP is pretty nice too.
  6. its kinda like saying, 'the short kid left the playground bleeding, so we might as well beat up the fat kid now'.
  7. farm subsidy database check out how much $$$$$ some folks are getting to grow our fuel. or ARE WE JUST pumping it straight to Archer Daniels Midland?
  8. let's see, our choice today, grow corn for food or fuel? what should we use our land for? Great ROI, we'll burn one and a half gallons of fuel, to make each gallon. ethanol should only function as an alternative niche fuel and should NEVER be relied on as a major source of our fuels in the future. You know the first presidential primary is in Iowa, right?
  9. do you know how much of a drain on taxpayer money and resources ethanol production is?
  10. a hot female friend of mine, whose sister own a hair salon, said that MULLETS are on the way back in, believe it or not....SOOOOO....maybe that means T-Tops would become trendy again too! I'm sad because its been too long since we had SWIVEL BUCKET SEATS....... if the mullet actually does become style again, then things REALLY bode well for a new Camaro release!!!!!!!!
  11. my buddy's web page blackentine's day
  12. on one hand he gloats about selling without discounts but in the same review he says they want a (discounted) model under 20 grand. well no duh. people don't want to pay 30-35 thou for an Accord knockoff with AWD. discounts bring sales, idiot.
  13. lotta times coworkers will shuttle adults to lunches or seminars or conventions or tours for work
  14. a hot carl on the toyota logo would be more appropriate
  15. hope its not a poseur complete piece of sht like the x3
  16. 300 jobs that's a small drop in the bucket
  17. per carsdirect.com, the cheapest mustang v8 config (if you can find one) is 25,860. that's with painted 17" wheels and stock stereo etc. add an automatic and you are at almost 27 grand. the Mustang GT premium is another 1500 or so on top of that. Ford has been using way low MSRP's lately. add three years of price increases and also the fact that GM's list prices are typically extremely high, much higher than Ford. Again, no way that car comes to market with a v8 for less than 30 grand. All you folks who plan on saving your pennies for 6 years to buy a three year old used camaro had better get that second job because you need to be saving 20's from the cash machine, not the change left from the 12 pack of miller high life after a beer run. If GM does come to market with a sub 30k v8 camaro, it will be an extreme stripper model. Hell, the 02 Camaros and Firebirds exceeded 30 grand frequently. two words...PIPE DREAM I just wanna know, will the new Camaro get T-TOPS?????
  18. astra aura wasn't there a GM car platform called alpha?
  19. i saw a pic of a yellow Pursuit coupe that was pretty nice. since the HHR is getting the 240hp ecotec, i can see the Pursuit and maybe the Cobalt getting it as well.
  20. Gov. Jenn will be passing out Chevette shaped valentine chocolates in a red bikini and will be giving LP dances as the Camaro appears and fills the hall with smoky burnouts........ 'and we will be selling them for 19,995"........
  21. I have a hard time believing that a turbocharged, direct injection, 260hp RSX ass kicking Pontiac G5 GXP coupe would be a bad thing. There are many parts of the country where Pontiac dealers need exactly this type of mass appeal car (small Cobalt clone) to maintain their volume. If the 2.4 is the base engine and the options are 2.0 supercharged and turbocharged, and ther driving experience is enhanced even over the Cobalt SS, then what's the issue? Make a sport suspension standard, give thing recaro like seats, standard, extreme handling options, big brakes, top drawer stereos, unique interior treatments...... then what's the problem? would you rather see Pontiac lose share? This is a car they can SELL. its inexpensive and hits the meat of what the market wants. this can provide VOLUME and take sales away from other makes. I cannot wait for the day we can shove a G5 coupe up the @$$ of some lame ass Honda fan who thinks their torqueless wimp car (civic) is the end all and be all of the small coupe market. Where the Cobalt SS is the equal right now, let the G5 coupe BLOW THEM AWAY. Honda is never gonna put out a turbo product, much less any Civic that can muster even 150-lb. ft of torque.

  24. tell the girl i need to see pics of those baby making hips and tennis player thighs, and whatever else she's willing to share
  25. g5 GXP anyone? A cobalt with 260hp under the hood is fine with me. Imagine the disgruntled vtec wussies.
