  1. This would be a great car for GM but toning it down isn't. GM needs to have the guts to introduce this car exactly like the European one except having Saturn badges. Plus the interior is nicer than the Malibu's.

    Toyota Tundra

I gotta admit its good looking and the interior looks great imho compared to cough its competitors.
  3. I actually think the Camry has to be at the top I've driven one and it's beautiful inside and out. I know this is an insult to some of what I have just said but something you hate so much you guys don't even give a chance... and no I don't mean reading reviews or actually punching the dash to say it rattles, treating the car like trash etc...Give it a chance...

I actually like the exterior, however the interior disappointed me so much it's like an interior I would never expect Toyota to actually put in a car. Those black things Farkas was talking about I hate those too them missing button things should just be phased out smoothly instead of an ugly black rectangle detracting it's flow of the interior. I guess that's just Toyota's way of cost cutting and i've seen many other automakers and they do similar things too, and i've also been in Toyotas and noticed that in a lot of their cars "black rectangles".

  6. The Venture was a nice van during its time in the market nothing about it was offensive, well maybe the rebadge lol. What GM can do is go back to mainstream styling you know typical minivan shape on wheels. The dash looks nice although materials could be better. The thing that really irks me is A LOT of parts were taken off the previous van like the exterior doorhandles, seats, interior sliding doorhandles, etc. Another irk would be ugly seat design like latches showing and weird headliner shape, tall third row seats for no view out the window, no stow away fold flat seat, crappy safety features, and of course the name should have just kept Venture renaming a vehicle won't sell a vehicle just LISTEN GM!!!
  7. Don't talk loud about the new Tundra lets just not talk about it all everytime we say something isn't good enough it backfires. Look at the Ridgeline I don't like it either and have no idea why it's truck of the year.
  8. Better interior and the Silverado looks better than the Sierra. Something about the Sierra reminds me of a Ridgeline.
  9. That compartment with the wood is a nice idea.
  10. I like it!!! I've seen a picture of it in silver looks stunning theres also real world pics of it I don't like the red color better in silver...
  11. My bad i'm to lazy to type well, but you should try using spell check next time.
  12. The Sienna is way better looking than the Odyssey because it's design is more simple and the Odyssey is just like the Accord the front doesn't match the rear like Odyssey's front is nice then the rear just doesn't fit the way the vehicle looks just like the 06 Accord oh and those hideous lines along the rearmost window camoflauge those door tracks gosh!!!
  13. I think they should just stick with Chevy and Saturn for minivans 2 is good enough.
  14. From Autoweek: GM hopes new sport vans will revive sales in minivan segment JASON STEIN | Automotive News Posted Date: 7/20/05 DETROIT -- General Motors is developing a new line of minivans with a radically different look in an effort to revive its sales in the segment. GM will launch at least three new minivans for the 2009 model year on the automaker's Lambda architecture, a platform designed for front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive minivans and sport wagons. Current Chevrolet, Saturn and Pontiac minivans, known internally as U vans, will move to the Lambda architecture. GM may not replace the Buick Terraza minivan, supplier and company sources say. Production will begin in 2008. GM hasn't announced a location. A year later, GM will offer extended-wheelbase versions of its minivans. GM began building its crossover sport vans - vehicles based on GM's existing minivan architecture but with SUV-like front ends - last year at its Doraville, Ga., plant. GM's Lambda architecture will debut early in 2007 with sport wagons built at a new plant in Lansing, Mich. Sources say the new minivans will offer fold-flat seating similar to the minivans offered by the Chrysler group, along with a radical, rounded exterior design. A GM insider says the GM minivans "look like spaceships." GM could use a minivan sales boost. It sold more than 300,000 minivans a year from 1997 to 2000, but sales have declined steadily ever since. Last year GM sold 157,169 minivans. Through the first six months of this year, GM sold 87,524 minivans and held 14.8 percent of the minivan market, down from 15.3 percent a year earlier. Through June, segment leader Chrysler sold 226,908 units and held 38.4 percent, up from 34.0 percent. The Buick Terraza, Chevrolet Uplander, Pontiac Montana SV6 and Saturn Relay are new for the 2005 model year. But GM hasn't gained any ground with the new minivans. GM uses the term "architecture" to signify a common set of components, performance characteristics, a common manufacturing process, a range of dimensions and connecting points for key component systems. 15. Didn't know that well Pontiac's version is alot more convincing with the silver paint.
  16. I don't think the Uplander is really competitive against the other minivans though some of its parts are from the Venture like the doorhandles and the seat design is very similar to the Venture its really outdated although I did read an article a while ago about GM's next minivans in 2009 or something with spaceship design as their next inspiration for design. 17. Yea siegen Odyssey would win but sometimes its so close there are other comparsions where the Sienna wins like this one... http://www.ifcar.net/reviews.comparisons.minivans.htm Every minivan in the market is included in this one and the Sedona beat the Odyssey shockingly but I wouldnt really call this a real comparison though.
  18. The new hubcap designs are a good idea look at the design in that G6 I thought they were real. 17 inch rims on a base model!!!...No those are my hubcaps everyone will like the idea and maybe soon it'll catch on. Yet another good idea from GM that the press doesn't really praise yet it'll probably be seen from the competition maybe soon and everyone will say OMG Honda or Toyota etc. created these cool new hubcaps.
  19. Yea like Flybrian said Daewoo i'm not saying this will really happen but a possibility at least some of these Chinese cars won't be successful. It's hard for me to imagine these cars actually being good cars in the next 20 years but same happened to Hyundai, Toyota etc. maybe just maybe history will repeat itself again although the Chinese cars are ugly ripoffs hopefully that will be resolved just like what happened to Hyundai.
  20. Yea it's pitiful they put the Quest in rather than Sienna I mean come on Odyssey, Sienna, and Grand Caravans are the best sellers with Sedona newcomer with all the features you need. Maybe if the Sienna was in the comparsion it would win!!! Just a thought but yea I find motor trend or car and driver always giving all the glory to Honda on everything they make so this is no surprise... which annoys me very much.
  21. This is so nice it looks way better than the Aura the Aura is nice I like it I actually think it'll do great but the Altima is way better looking than the Aura I mean the side view on the Aura looks like an old peoples car with all that overdid chrome but thats good for mainstream buyers to compete with the Camry. I mean come on the Aura's rear looks very similar to the G6,Impala, and Lacrosse its gettin kinda tired with the same rear end.
