  1. 136 good ones...hmm...
  2. Gran Turismo 5
  3. I've got 447 photos to sort through so give me a bit. This is a very cool museum, they have a lot of last survivors, special aircraft, and one-of-a-kind aircraft. For example, they used to have B-17G 44-85734 which was used as an experimental engine test bed before it was donated to the museum and nearly destroyed by the 1979 tornado.
  4. Went to the New England Air Museum today, they had some amazing stuff. If you guys want I'll post some photos. There were a few prewar cars in the museum too.
  5. I usually tip 15% for delivery or waiting service if it's expected, 10% if it's not great, and 20% if it's exceptional. I've only ever not tipped once because the waiter was terrible and rude. Another problem I discovered the hard way in delivery, is that people will just give you a couple bucks and think that's a "good" tip, whether it's $8 (which is and very good) or $58 which is not good.
  6. The filter keeps the water clean, but there is still algae that grows and stuff on the bottom for them to it. We do have a bit of an issue with algae tablets, as the sharks will suck them up before the reach the rocks. I dunno, I now a few days ago he was swimming upside down along the surface. That was a flag, but as I watched him, he wasn't floating or struggling or anything, just swimming around. Then would then just go back t o sucking on the glass. Last time I saw a fish upside down it was really "out of it" before it died. This was different.
  7. Croc, my bad, it's tough to understand the context of text sometimes. Ocn, that delivery charge, the delivery person may not even get. I know the place I worked at they sometimes gave a delivery charge for longer distance deliveries but I never benefited from it.
  8. In the spirit of old computer commercials:
  9. Besides tips, being polite paid off in some other ways. In addition to the guy who has a collection of F-Series trucks, I met a guy who has a Dodge Lancer, and a woman who showed e her mint 3rd gen Firebird and an older model Monte Carlo SS. had some people specifically request for me to deliver (the security guys at the IRS for example). Like I said, the bad experiences outweighed the good, and the $4 gas at the time, combined with the car being backed into while parked next to the building, and rear ended while on delivery, just pushed it over the edge. Also at the time we were planning on moving. I always imagined finally telling off someone who didn't tip me for an unfair reason on my last day, especially if it was a regular who never tipped, no matter how nice, fast, etc. you were. However I figured I'd rather leave on as good of a note as possible, so I never did. My boss asked me if I wanted to come back several times, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Anyway, no more thread hijacking, sorry ocn!

    R.I.P

I swear, we have the worst luck with bottom feeders. We've been through 3 so far this year. I'm not sure what the issue is. Tested the water, everything was good. It was treated with medication shortly after we got our last Pleco. Temperature is in the right range, salt levels are good. This one turned up dead yesterday. I'd never seen the other fish pick on/at it, and it showed no signs of being attacked when I found it...although by teh time I got it out of teh water they had picked at it... Meanwhile, the two Silver Tips "Sharks" are happy as can be. Weird.
  11. My my, how we jump to conclusions. You know what they say about assuming right? First and foremost. I quit the job, so yeah, it's no longer an issue. Second, I was always polite, even when I didn't get a tip. Just because I felt angered doesn't mean I showed it. That's called being professional. I can feel frustrated by itwithout showing it, last time I checked anyway. The one time the guy gave me the sob story (and when I say sob story I mean he was an ass about it) about how he was ordering out but couldn't tip because he had kids to feed and all that $h!, was because I asked how he wanted his change back, and he made a point to say all of it, and then gave me his stupid story. I always delivered as fast as I sanely could Obviously tipping should be based on speed and overall quality of service. However, when you are polite, timely, and overall professional, yes a tip should be given. If a person doesn't tip despite the delivery person meeting those prerequisites, then yeah you're a dick.
  12. As far as tipping goes, I tip based on the same method used for tipping at a restaurant. If anything delivery people deserve it more. There were a few people who tipped me well and helped make up for all the cheap asshats. There's an older gentleman who lives a few blocks away from the place I worked. He's got a yard full of various generation F Series trucks, one of which he was rebuilding from teh ground up. I chatted with him about it a few times. Sometimes he would make a $!0.00 order, and tip me $7.00! However the bad outweighs the good. The worst one was a $60.00 delivery I made to TD Bank North. The woman saw the bill and explained that she thought it would be more expensive...and she didn't. f@#kING. TIP. I almost stabbed her in the throat with the pen. I've gotten BS excuses from people saying they don't have money to tip cuz they have a kids to support or some $h!. Hey asshole, buy the food from the store and make it yourself if money's an issue! Oh and then there's those jerkoffs who cancel the order by the time you get to their door. This is why I can never go back. Also, delivery is one of the most dangerous jobs. Everyone who orders deliver should go here: http://tipthepizzaguy.com/
  13. I know what you mean! I hate weak toilets. I've had some get clogged from the battleship itself and not any toilet paper! I want a toilet that has enough power to practically suck the crap out of you!
  14. Oh I Know, if I don't feel like tipping I'll just go get the order myself.
  15. Yeah, if people would actually watch/read credible news and not every harebrained article that some attention whore writes, the government has stated repeatedly it doesn't want to run Chrysler or GM. t wants them restructured and released ASAP.
  16. Yeah, they are hilarious. Now, meet the sandwich.
  17. Meet the Heavy
  18. I spay painted mine...partly because I'm lazy but mainly because you just can't get that smooth finish with a brush (well maybe you can but I can't, ). I did use a brush to paint the details like the turbo superchargers. I'm certainly better at it than i used to be.
  19. Ah, see like I figured, it looks fine close up.
  20. The Silver one with the 5-spokes has Charger SRT 8 20" wheels on it. They rub a bit apparently but not bad enough to be a problem. The other Intrepid has 300C SRT 8 wheels. Those are actually narrower than the Charger's wheels so they fit perfectly. The mirrors are from 300Ms that had integrated turn signals. Both of them have dual exhaust, and they sound awesome. Yes, it will take time, but I will get my car up to that level (if not better).
  21. I'm not a fan of the 80's, especially when it comes to fashion.
  22. GM Files for Bankruptcy The day that seemed unthinkable as little as 6 months ago has arrived, as GM files for Chapter 11. Follow the jump or details. http://www.cheersandgears.com/index.php?sh...c=33732&hl=
  23. :rotflmao:
  24. Oh and to help pay for gas when it was $4.00 gallon. Not being tipped even then, combined with being rear ended (though minor), caused me to call it quits and wish that everyone who doesn't tip their delivery guy chokes on the f@#king food.
  25. At least you pick it up then. Nothing I hated more than some asshole who has the money to order out, but not to tip you for putting wear and tear on your car, fighting traffic, elements, finding your stupid house so your fat ass can eat.
