  1. Hmm, I'm not sure about dedicated salvage auctions. There probably is, but I would have to investigate.
  2. Lucky for me there's a fair amount of junkyards in the area. Man, I so wished I had bought that wrecked 300M on Craigslist last year for $500.
  3. I've never had the pleasure of looking for an entire donor car. I was wondering if I was better off trying to find an owner with a wrecked one, or if this was a viable option.

So I want to take the route of finding a totaled 300M (an LHS would work too) and use it as a parts car for mine. I was wondering, and sorry if this is s a stupid question, but will junkyards sell you a whole car that still has a good drivetrain, and will they charge you a crapload for it?
  5. Pontiac will be before Buick, IMHO.
  6. For Cadillac it works well, since there's some actually meaning behind the "name". Plus, "Seville" does not conjure up images of a sporty, modern, RWD competitor, at least to me. For Pontiac and Lincoln, it's stupid though.
  7. Happy Birthday!
  8. Funny thing is you just called that Seville by the alphanumeric name it's successor later adapted, STS.
  9. B-Pillar or no B-Pillar? Would Sixty8 buy a FWD Korean hardtop? Autoblog
  10. Eeeeww...you feel like a piece of $h!?
  11. I'm not really interested in the story anyway, so much as it's conclusion.
  12. You keep Jack in a bottle and locked away? That's so mean!
  13. I've had a craving for Quiznos for a while, but there's only 2 in the area and neither are where I travel normally.
  14. I've only had Jack once, I remember the shakes were good. I like McGriddles.
  15. Yes, it is very annoying, and now it's stuck in my head, ass.
  16. If I go for fast food I prefer Wendy's, but there's none that are actually on my route to work. However I just realized there's a Subway in the plaza near where I work, so yay!
  17. Sense of humor? Do you need it? You can't see any irony at all? Either way, I'm not so anal retentive that I can't find the humor in the situation and laugh at it. If it offends you I'm sorry, but I can laugh at jokes made at the expense of my race or anyone else's...cuz they're jokes. Speaking of which, that stereotype poster YJ posted in another thread would be fitting.
  18. Whatever, then when it was announced that Olds would be closed the cars was hailed that way. Here, I got it right this time.: 2003 Aurora
  19. Could very well be, but no matter what teh story that wreck was deadly for the passenger.
  20. Caddy, I hope you hang on to that G8 for a long time. It's a sweet car that will surely become a classic in years to come.
  21. When the 2nd gen Aurora came out, it was hailed as the best GM car that was also about to be discontinued.
  22. From the premium access thread, post #1. At any rate, I'll discuss it with the others.
  23. I dunno, but you can definitely see blood in the passenger compartment.
  24. It's currently set to only be usable in certain sections...I think the Lounge, GM News, and Industry news right now. Last night I enabled it in the Ford forums to post those Fusion commercials. I'll have to talk with the others, and see about just enabling it on most, if not all forums, since auto show reveals and such usually have videos too.
