  1. We have at least one low railroad bridge in my town. I remember a big semi got it's trailer shaved years ago. Almost happened recently, but the guy in the Ryder truck actually found his brain and stopped before he hit it.
  2. The DTS' looks like a nice interior from the 90's. The switchgear you find in the Impala is also present. In other colors teh STS' interior looks much more inviting. It is subjective yes, but it's still dated.
  3. I like adding a little brown sugar to it...so good.
  4. I never liked the DTS...both what it stands for and how it looks. It stands for everything Cadillac shouldn't be if it wants to be the Standard of the World. The CTS on the other hand represents everything a Cadillac should be. I don't like the proportions, it has a long front overhand which looks cheap. The interior has eerie similarities to the Impala...and I should never be once reminded about a Chevy when sitting n a Cadillac. The STS may be flawed, but it handles better, has more features, has a much nicer interior, has better proportions, and better powertrains.
  5. Just make sure to check it, it only takes 2-2 1/2 minutes to cook.
  6. Greenhouse looks a lot like the Cruise....
  7. CTS, first and 2nd gen obviously.
  8. If you've ever tried bacon on these grills I strongly recommend trying it. You may never cook it any other way again.
  9. *slaps* That's just retarded.
  10. I think it's awesome, but I don't really care for the look of the actual car.
  11. The Caliber, like other Damiler era cars, aren't fundamentally bad cars, they're just unfinished or cost cut to hell in the interior. If the Caliber reviewed a new interior (which I don't know why it didn't but the Jeeps did), better noise isolation, and maybe some time around the track, it would be much better.
  12. Someone doesn't realize that a lot of people are waiting fr diesels to be available in 1500 trucks, and realize that they will probably boost fuel efficiency ratings for the trucks too.
  13. He's one of the few celebrities I genuinely have respect for...not just because he's a real car guy but because he's a good person who doesn't just do nice things to get attention.
  14. Neat collection of cars you've had Carbiz. My favorite is the Polara, followed by my soft spot for Shadows and then the wagon. The Rampage is neat but that style front end wasn't pretty.
  15. Mazda3 and Fiesta are way better cars. People buy the Corolla because it's known for being boring "reliable" transportation. I can see the guys at GM developing the Aztek and saying "Yes, people will buy this."
  16. The above video is all the reminder you should ever need to pay close attention to the signs posted on bridges all over the country informing motorists of their height. We're not quite sure where exactly this particular span is located, but it's 11' 8" height is a good bit lower than what seems to be typical. For this minor little engineering oversight, at least a handful of large trucks have been morphed into instant convertibles. Let's just hope that some of these drivers placed a check in the box for the optional insurance when renting their moving trucks. Thanks for the tip, Stephen! null - Watch more free videos Autoblog
  17. Si this a pre MCE or post MCE one? I like the new interior, it's quite pleasant and up to date looking. The old one not so much. My neighbor has one and he's never had an issue with it (unlike his Santa Fe).
  18. Well as far as I know Chrysler's small diesel is still a go.
  19. Bacon turns out awesome on these things. It's like they were designed for cooking bacon. Crispy yet juicy. Takes about 2 minutes to cook. I've never tried hot dogs.
  20. Sometimes, you just have to stop, tip your cap, and accept what is awesome. This is one of those times. Better still, you can buy this example of awesomeness and put it in your garage. "It" is a 1978 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz. And it has power T-Tops. Let's repeat that, for those of you who weren't paying attention: POWER T-TOPS. And they work. Picked your jaw off the floor yet? Good. Apparently, only seven prototype cars were built with the ultra-rare, ASC-developed feature. Finished in Colonial Yellow with plush pillow-topped seating, this particular example has 66,775 miles on the clock and a top bid of $5,600 (reserve has not yet been met) as of this writing. Frankly, the only way this car could be any better is if it were brown, and the stereo exclusively played theme music by Lalo Schifrin. Short of that, it'll do just fine. Now please excuse us, as we've got to see if we can dig several thousand dollars in loose change out of the couch so that we might have a shot at experiencing this (not so) little piece of period awesome. Or maybe it's just awesome. Period. Autoblog
  21. Olive oil...that might be an idea to try. Are the burgers juicy or dried out at all? It's an awesome appliance really. It takes so much hassle and time out of cooking. I will have to try different things. Luckily I like burgers very much, so I don't mind experimenting.
