  1. First Production Camaro goes for $350,000 One of Barrett-Jackson's most anticipated auctions this year was the first retail production Chevrolet Camaro, which sold for $350,000 and all proceeds will go to the American Heart Association. This it people, the Camaro is just weeks from hitting the dealerships! Follow the jump to read get all of the details of the Camaro's auction. http://www.cheersandgears.com/index.php?sh...c=27782&hl=
  2. Well there is this one guy who works at a NAPA in Lowell (or he did) that seemed to know his stuff.
  3. I hope the winner garages it and then buys a 2nd to drive the wheels off with.
  4. It's been a good, real winter so far, we've had above normal snow amounts. Right now ths storm is expected to give us 6-8 inches (up from 3-6) with another 1-3 possible overnight and into Monday.
  5. I could see that logic, the only problem in this case is that the Torrent seats 5 with less interior room than the G8, and the G8 has a giant trunk.
  6. This alone is enough reason to get the Century and never look back.
  7. We tend to have soft spots for cars we own.
  8. If it makes you feel better I complain about it regardless of the year.
  9. See I guess I'm lucky, the people at the places I go to either know what they are talking about or look it up properly.
  10. That sucks, Sears is one of the few places that still sells a good selection of Made in USA tools.
  11. I like AutoZone and C.A.P.
  12. She knows more than me, so go with that.
  13. Yes but exactly how much will that cost you? Yes you can, they will be around, and even the expensive ones, most go for about the price of a new car (with some exceptions). That's poor suspension tuning. The truely great cars, like the G8, and CTS can handle well and ride well. I was using the weight of those two cars because I don't remember the exact weight of the Caddy, I just know it was a lot and more than both of those cars. Intrepids are not some hybrid of two compacts. And yes it is a valid comparison because they were both sold as full-size cars. By that logic I could stuff a V8 and suspension mods into the Intrepid (it's been done) and then smoke the Cadillac. You can't compare with modding because the possibilities are ENDLESS. The Cadillac could be modded with enough money to make 1000 hp, so could the Intrepid, and be converted to RWD.
  14. Now that''s cool. I like how they put the license plate bracket on the opposite side of the exhausts and shaped it the same. That's attention to detail.
  15. Agreed.
  16. Century.
  17. Well then don't complain about piss poor fuel economy.
  18. There's no dipstick for the tranny? That is just weird. But yes, while I don't know if that would help your particular problem, the filter and fluid should be changed, because the dirty filter will just contaminate the fluid.
  19. Genius, most automakers make concepts all the time they never build, it isn't just Chrysler. They are working on the EVs for production. DO you see anyone else out with a production EV? No? Didn't think so. You do not know what they will or will not build. It is certainly a possibility this car could see production, as it's based on a real platform. Please, think before shooting your mouth off. kthxbai
  20. Somethings are worth the extra cash to get it new and fix it right.
  21. That's a great analogy actually. In fact looks like an evolution of the last gen Sebring if you forget about the current one, which is probably the best idea for everyone. Chrysler did state that they would be going for styling that was less edgy and more like their pre-Daimler stuff. I'd hit it.
  22. Why not the filter? Changing the fluid is useless if you don't change the filter, because you can still get gunk that's on the filter into the new fluid.
  23. I prefer these:
  24. And you didn't redneck it!
