Holy Snow
It's been a good, real winter so far, we've had above normal snow amounts. Right now ths storm is expected to give us 6-8 inches (up from 3-6) with another 1-3 possible overnight and into Monday.

What to choose instead of a G8 ST? The Torrent GXP, of course
I could see that logic, the only problem in this case is that the Torrent seats 5 with less interior room than the G8, and the G8 has a giant trunk.

A choice of two cars...
This alone is enough reason to get the Century and never look back.

We tend to have soft spots for cars we own.

If it makes you feel better I complain about it regardless of the year.

Oh autostore parts guy
See I guess I'm lucky, the people at the places I go to either know what they are talking about or look it up properly.

Circuit City to liquidate remaining US stores
That sucks, Sears is one of the few places that still sells a good selection of Made in USA tools.

GM snuffs Holden's global RWD dream
Yes but exactly how much will that cost you? Yes you can, they will be around, and even the expensive ones, most go for about the price of a new car (with some exceptions). That's poor suspension tuning. The truely great cars, like the G8, and CTS can handle well and ride well. I was using the weight of those two cars because I don't remember the exact weight of the Caddy, I just know it was a lot and more than both of those cars. Intrepids are not some hybrid of two compacts. And yes it is a valid comparison because they were both sold as full-size cars. By that logic I could stuff a V8 and suspension mods into the Intrepid (it's been done) and then smoke the Cadillac. You can't compare with modding because the possibilities are ENDLESS. The Cadillac could be modded with enough money to make 1000 hp, so could the Intrepid, and be converted to RWD.

'72 Riviera GS road test
Now that''s cool. I like how they put the license plate bracket on the opposite side of the exhausts and shaped it the same. That's attention to detail.

transmission problem with 99 chevy malibu
There's no dipstick for the tranny? That is just weird. But yes, while I don't know if that would help your particular problem, the filter and fluid should be changed, because the dirty filter will just contaminate the fluid.

Detroit 2009: Chrysler 200C Concept
Intrepidation replied to Intrepidation's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Genius, most automakers make concepts all the time they never build, it isn't just Chrysler. They are working on the EVs for production. DO you see anyone else out with a production EV? No? Didn't think so. You do not know what they will or will not build. It is certainly a possibility this car could see production, as it's based on a real platform. Please, think before shooting your mouth off. kthxbai

Detroit 2009: Chrysler 200C Concept
Intrepidation replied to Intrepidation's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)That's a great analogy actually. In fact looks like an evolution of the last gen Sebring if you forget about the current one, which is probably the best idea for everyone. Chrysler did state that they would be going for styling that was less edgy and more like their pre-Daimler stuff. I'd hit it.

Why not the filter? Changing the fluid is useless if you don't change the filter, because you can still get gunk that's on the filter into the new fluid.
