  1. Chevrolet shouldn't get a Kappa for one simple reason: it has it's owns special halo car...the Corvette. It outperforms everything in GM's lineup...that's special enough for Chevrolet.
  2. Why? Bland is not what sells cars unless you're Toyota.
  3. It's my believe that the unofficial delivery car is the Ford Focus based on how many I've seen I've never met an SRT-4 owner, so I wouldn't know. Let's not forget what's I'm using for delivery right now.
  4. The Malibu's gonna have a tough time, especially in the interior department...I hope those materials are up to par.
  5. I like this one a lot!
  6. For your view pleasure (pardon the lousy sound quality):
  7. The SRT-4 has a bigger following than the Cobalt SS or Ion RL. It also beats both of them in comparison tests...go look up C&D's.
  8. How about an actual NAV system in one of GM's midsize cars? Class-leading instead of class-lagging interiors from the domestics? No none of them offer that! How about real metal interior bits instead of plastic? I can buy a can of soup made with real metal for less than a dollar...why is it so hard to put some metal in interiors?
  9. Plus, the Mustang never left production. Apparently many of you don't have a clear definition of rice. Rice is adding on poorly molding, strangely shaped body kits to cars that do nothing but increase their weight. They add a fart can and a huge wing and call it a day. Here, is true rice: The SRT-4's add-ons are clean, simple and much of it purposeful. The hood scoop is to let cool air in and teh hood exhausts is to let hot aitr out...being car people you guys should know this.
  10. I like mine better..I don't like how the bed slopes down to teh tail from the "cab". It's still cool though, and I hope they bring it here.
  11. Great photos Sixty8, I also have a couple videos of the B-17 from Friday I'll post today. As for that other little plane, I think it's a trainer but not sure, but I do know it's a regular at the airport.
  12. Sir, you have insulted my car... From the spyshots at least, it looks flabby and ungainly. It's trying to be a CLS but the proportions look way off.
  13. The EAA also owns the Memphis Belle replica and the 909 (I think), both have bee to Lawrence Airport, along with a B-24 that accompanied the 909. Of the 3 B-17's, the 909 is in the best shape...looks like a brand new plane...clean, straight skin, no oil residue, and starts right up. The Memphis Belle is probably in the worst shape of the 3. Sixty8, did yo know there was an Avenger that resided at the airport for a while? I don't know if it's there anymore but i used to see it fly over the city.
  14. I'm going to refer you to Chris' quote in my sig.
  15. That steering wheel is the same one you'll find in the Caliber.
  16. Not sure if I'm digging the square gauge pods, but if you removed the plastic that separates each gauge it would not look square. The gauges themselves look like they came out of the early 90's. I think once all of the brightwork is their, and assuming there's other colors besides gray it may look nice. Will have to wait until it's properly revealed to make final judgment.
  17. Well, I think a Hummer H1 with a Gatling Gun on it's back is a more appropriate anology. Durable, armed to the teeth, and not very comfortable inside...it just looks 1,000,000x better than a Hummer
  18. Interior
  19. Well here it is, the beautiful B-17G that came Lawrence Airport this past weekend. I was lucky enough to get up close and take a tour of it as well as get a couple short videos of the engines running. Here's a bunch of photos I took..you'll like this Sixty8 :AH-HA_wink:
  20. The sedan is alright, better than the Camry and at least they put some thought into the rear and didn't knock off an old Mitsubishi *cough* Malibu *cough* I hate the bulging headlights of the sedan though. It's got a lot of 5-series in the greenhouse but at the same time it's not as ugly as the 5-series front or back. Poor man's BMW for sure. The coupe however looks great (and look! no light bulging!). Sleeker and more aggressive than the old one, which looked fat and slab sided. The interior however, really sets this car apart and absolutely destroys the Malibu's interior. The colors, the details (and no doubt, the materials) really put that interior in a class above the rest. I love the way it looks. For those complaining about the base interior...well I guess you haven't seen a base interior of the Malibu.
  21. Nice job Sxity8, maybe they'll actually look it up and not buy the TRD.
  22. Where, oh where to start... Drivers that drift into other lanes Drivers that change lanes suddenly without signalling and not looking to see that I am right beside them, forcing me to slam on my brakes Drivers who tailgate Driver's who weave in and out of traffic lanes Driver's who pass when it is a no passing zone Driver's who brake suddenly at the last minute to turn Driver's who throw their blinkers on last minute Driver's who do not use their turn signals at all Drover's who take forever to take a turn Driver's who stop at every damn intersection even if they have the right of way Driver's who go 20mph under the speed limit Driver's who cannot keep a constant speed Driver's who run read lights or stop signs Driver's on cell phones Driver's who do not look before backing up or pulling out Driver's who peel around corners, almost hitting you Driver's who rear end you because they are too f#@$ing stupid to realize the car in front of them is stopped and that you are supposed to yield to rotary traffic.
  23. Why must the quote throw in religious overtones when it is not needed? Anyway, the low speed maneuverability is very very impressive...it's is truly a marvel of technology and far ahead of any fighter in service. One thing the Japan will never to be able to brag about is that they build better planes. :AH-HA_wink:
