  1. FWD has it's place just as much as RWD and AWD have their places.
  2. I don't believe it will be a home run... I do believe it will sell well, and much better than the current one...but it's not something that will do for Chevy what the 300C did for Chrysler. Why? Because while revolutionary for Chevy as a brand, it's not revolutionary for the segmen like the 300 was for it's segment. It's still FWD, will have 4 cylinders and V6's and a hybrid, 6-speed automatics, a nice shape, and hopefully a nice interior...but all that does is make the car competetive. I seriously doubt there's something segment-busting about it. Granted, from what I have seen so far i really like the car, and it's garunteed to sell much better than the current POS...I just don't believe it'll be a home run like the 300C for Chrysler.
  3. Well Fly, we all know you don't like the LX cars, but you forget that in addition to all o the negative comments you've given the Magnum, it also has more cargo utility/versatility than any sedan, including the Charger/300C. It also has good engine choices (except the 2.7), functional interior, unique liftgate, aggressive/polarizing style(which can be good just as much as it can be bad), and good handling. O course I know we can argue to the death and you'll still hate them, but oh well. Unfortuneately i doubt any of the upcoming vehicles will be all-out hits, (just as I believe the Malibu will not be a home run, just a good seller). I do however that while no one vehicle will genereate massive sales that offset the current sales loss, the combination of new products that I believe will sell well and a lot better than their predecessors, will get Chrysler out of the rut...in theory anyway
  4. If you're serious, I'll drive buy it inm the next day or two to see if it's still there and get some info on it.
  5. Anyone interested?
  6. Image Ready is ideal for ani-gifs. Of course you could try Flash too Sucky Computer
  7. From the back it looks possible, but not the front...come to think of it they look like 2 different cars (I prefer the back)
  8. For I am poor (plus I have a fastback and a `70 coupe in the garage)
  9. For the last couple of days I haven't been able to load Insideline up. The main page comes up fine, but when I click a link it won't load. Is it an isolated problem or am I not alone?
  10. Really? I barely see any old Chevy and GMC trucks around these days. On the other hand I still see a fair number of Fords and Dodges.

  12. Looks awesome, but the front 3/4 looks too much like a Camaro with 2 extra doors. The back is sweet though.

  14. Like you insulting Buickman?
  15. a `69 Barracuda coupe FOR SALE
  16. Until the Kappa based roaster and 2+2 coupe arrive
  17. Good review, very rrreasonable. I bet the R/T with FWD and the 5-speed feels a lot more powerful...maybe more fun to drive too.
  18. Sounds like fun...btw what is the GM-related prize? Cuz I never got one when I won a contest...
  19. It's the most badass station wagon on the planet
  20. I'll join, most of you guys haven't seen much of my sketches...but it sounds like a fun thing! By the way...can the sig include sketches that aren't car-related? 1. American_Revolution_2005 2. 22. Yes it is, I've seen proof of it. AWD is naturally the best, but unless you've got the engine in your trunk then RWD is almost uselessin the snow...especially high-powered RWD cars.
  23. I don't drive it but my family owns a `69 and a `70 Barracuda/`Cuda...does that count?
