  1. No problem. You're a good guy and have a nice project going..
  2. Ahh, no. My dad's looking for a '98-02 WS6, Trans Am, or Formula. I was just wondering the difference because he was asking me..
  3. I'd do one for sure. Find me a good 3/4 view that's at least 800x600 or bigger (the bigger and clearer, the better). Matter of fact, I just spent the last 20-30 minutes browsing through the first 4 pages (damn those huge pictures!) and didn't find anything good..
  4. Why thank you, Mr. Blackwell. I'll probably be able to do the G8 color pallet tonight sometime; it should be a quick ten, fifteen minute job. Would you like me to do the pallet on the regular G8 GT show car or my concept? Probably the show car since that's the one you'll be able to buy, right?
  5. If you buy a 6 year old LS1/LS6 car, you're not going to have a warranty anyway...
  6. Never. I may bitch and moan, but I will have me that Camaro. Yessir!
  7. Alright, thanks guys. I was just looking for a little bit of intelligent feedback on it. Seems like if you were to get an LS1 it'd make a lot more sense to get aftermarket heads, cam, pistons to make more power for less money than to get LS6 spec parts from GMPD...
  8. What are the main differences between the three? Also, if you were to buy a LS1 car, would it be easy to turn it into an LS2 or LS6? TIA, guys!
  9. Oh wait, I think my friend in Tennessee has a 5th Gen that I've been in. I think it's an MC at least. I stand corrected.
  10. But you don't waste as much (or any) tire on the snow/ice.
  11. Never been in one, parents have never owned one. My uncle used to have a 4th Gen and a friend at school has a 6th Gen. Never been in either.
  12. I'll sum up my feelings in one sentence: f@#k Toyota; GMT900s are teh sex.
  13. Thank you, sir, and welcome to C&G!
  14. Alright, Wikipedia's great for Engine Codes, but they don't have everything I need for power, torque, displacement. Any other ideas?
  15. Hmm, didn't even think of Wikipedia for having that type of info. Thanks, BV. I'll update if I can't find anything.
  16. Hey guys, I'm looking for some information on the following engines not included in the C&G Resource Guide (found at the forum header). The information that I am looking for is as follows: Engine Name (i.e. Ecotec 2.2L I4) Displacement (cc / ci) Configuration (i.e. DOHC 4 valves/cylinder) HP @ RPM lb-ft @ RPM Applications (models each engine is found in) Engine Code (i.e. LS2 or LK5). Here is the list of engines I'm looking for (along with any others you may find that aren't on the C&G Resource Guide: 2.0L Turbo Ecotec I4 (9-3, Solstice/Sky) 2.3L Turbo I4 (Saab 9-5) 2.9L I4 (Colorado and Canyon) 3.6L DI V6 (Aura XR and ’08 CTS) 2.4L Hybrid I4 (Aura/Vue Green Line) Are there other hybrid engines? Thanks all,Frank EDIT: Also, what is the best single source to find the MPG of each and every model depending on the engine (i.e. Cobalt MPG for 2.2L, 2.4L, and 2.0L Supercharged differ). Would I just have to go to each manufacturer's different pages?
  17. I don't have a problem with those mats... Then again, I have a yeller Cobalt.
  18. I didn't mention transmissions period. Guilty conscience?I just said they should've had the most tow-worthy suspensions. If they're looking for the "tow vehicle of the year" why would they use an offroad suspension for any of them?
  19. No. The Viper would remain with a V10 giving it further exclusivity (how many V10s are there?) and it would continue with pricing between a Z06 and StingRay, with bolder more upright looks than both. To each their own. I like the uprightness of the Viper to the sleekness of the Z06. If the two were late 4th Gen F-Bodies, the Viper would be a Firehawk while the Corvette would be the Camaro. The Z06 is nice, but the Viper takes the cake for me.
  20. The two are different animals. The Viper is much more "exotic" than the 'Vette, meaning that it's so different from the Corvette (Z06 specifically) that many Viper fans wouldn't buy a Z06 while many Z06 buyers wouldn't cross to a Viper. The Viper is much more beautiful (from the outside) and is much more brawny and more masculine than the Z06. However, the 'Vette is sly and more refined with better finesse, a nicer interior, and better road manners. People who buy the Corvette want that piece of luxury they're missing out on with the Viper. Conversely, those buying the Viper just want it for the same reason Muscle Cars even existed: unrefined, unrelentless power at all times. Nobody can say that, from the outside, the Viper looks worse than the Z06. However, nobody can say the Viper has a nicer interior or is more refined than the Z06. They're totally different spices.
  21. I'd say to properly equip all of them then try it. You can't judge a "tow" vehicle, for example in the Sierra, with an offroad performance package. It's unfair to judge a tow vehicle on the wrong criteria, and they just did with at least a few of the vehicles.
  22. Congratulations on the new car. Ya know, I had an epiphany last night. I could've actually been able to afford a GTO if I wanted to instead of the Cobalt. I mean, I love my car, but a GTO is so damn nice! Eh, whatever. Congrats!
  23. Why, are you offering? lol
