That's a pretty color. I can't remember if you were specifically looking for the 6 over the 4, but it should be pretty trouble free. The steering wheel is showing some wear and looks like it could use a cover or a replacement.

I come from a primarily GM family. As a kid I liked Chevy because of my dad's '71 Camaro. Over the years my favorite brand evolved to Cadillac to Oldsmobile to Honda to Acura to Mercedes to Oldsmobile and now to nothing. There is no particular automaker that holds my attention now. I go strictly with what fits my needs, regardless of the brand. I probably lean slightly towards Lexus due to my experience with my IS300.

I'm reluctant to bring this up, but whenever I see this generation of Jetta, I think of this: I had a friend who had one back in the day. Absolutely loved it. I think you got a great deal, automatic notwithstanding.

Congrats on the new ride. That's a bright color. As for mods, a new set of wheels would look nice.

I'm up in Toronto for a few days, my first time above the border. What a curious place. There's a distinct lack of big pickups and full-size SUVs. Minivans overrun this place. It seems so...civilized. Some of my observed vehicles: my first Astra on the street, and it was crashed into a Mercedes C-Series. A dark gray Ferrari 430. A few Nissan X-Trails, and plenty of Buick Allures. A few smartcars and a Mercedes A-Series. The Toyota Sienna and Honda Civic/Acura EL seem to be the most popular vehicles around.
