    GM Marketing

Holy crap!!!!!!!!!! me too but it definitely is an exciting move... if done properly
  2. oh.. kay, i may have struck a nerve. in responce about the cup "holes" as you call them, they 2003 VW golf GTI has cup holders cleverly hidden in the dash directly above the radio. so when you do need to use the holders, you ahvd better set the station ahead of time because between steering and shifting you wont have that damn third hand to actually change the station. plus in the event of any sort of pot hole, if yo spill the damn thing it has nowhere to go but onto the radio. But i digress, my only point to this tangent was that even the "holyer than thou" engineers in germany have brain farts every now and then. and in the event your responce is the fact that it is a sports car and therfore not designed for holding drinks, think for a second and maybe GM was thinking the same thing(Is it really that big of a deal) its abviously not to me. But i do thank you for taking the time to try explaining why it is so bad.
  3. the reason i posted it here was because of the fact that GM was actually taking home a few of the top spots, thats all.
  4. Ohhhh!!!!! thanks
  5. I know one thing, I wont be happy until they design the interior of a car to give me road head while I drive long distances!!!!!!!! no, but seriously folks. it may just be me but what is the big deal about the G6 center console area, i have a G6 and i love everything about it!!!! can someone exlpain to me without using an opinion what it is?
  6. Perhaps GM has already been studying them knowing that they are growing so fast. maybe thats why they offered that. they heard people saying they only bought a kia was because the warranty was so much better.
  7. beside, does it really matter why people are buying hyundais? fact is they are the fastest growing car company. 203519[/snapback] That is what GM said about toyota!!! i see what you are saying, but if you could study hyundai now and figure out how they are doing it, you stand to keep them down and maybe raise your sales.
  8. sorry, i am new when it comes to wall street talk. what is a proxy fight?
  9. http://www.forbes.com/feeds/ap/2006/10/09/ap3075322.html I am just happy to see Toyota is losing their grip. not so easy once you get close to the top is it!!
  10. Seems like Canadia is just following the trend of the rest of the world. GM first then yota, and then the rest of the world.
  11. First of all razor, it is spelled SATURN!!!! not saturin. Second, it is spelled PROPHET!!!!! not profit.
  12. Ring... Hello... yes,... yes... oh okay, i will let him know, thanks. click Hey Buickman! the village called. they want their idiot back!!!!!!
  13. I tend to agree with Buickman on the good natured humor. however i do not agree with the packing up for bobby, A good leader does not disclose unneccessary information the and ignorant public that will just blow it out of proportion. ITS ALL GOOD, JUST SIT BACK AND RELAX!!!!!
  14. Just remember, the only reason you think GM is doing just fine is because thats what they want you think, not that they are doing bad but if they are exploring other options then they obviously arent doing too terribly good!
  15. Ya know, i used feel bad for the way people slammed you on this forum. but know i see how narrow minded you are. if you didnt say it or suggest it, it is a retarded idea. You do have some very well tought out ideas but the way you try and force them onto people just pisses them off and they quit listening. then you just become the crazy guy one pays any attention to. try taking it down a notch and maybe people will listen. just a thought
  16. GM and Ford may not be enemies and longer but they certainly are not old chumsready to give eachother the shirts off their back to help one another, they may team up for something like a 6-speed tranny, but as far as building cars together. NO
  17. I will agree with not winning the war, but the tides are changing and they are starting to win battles, you have to stop the bleeding before you can start the healing. i would like to know where your numbers are coming from when you say the sales are not any better. Cobalts are making money, G6 sales have increased sense last year. they are doing fine. "Stay the course #1, we'll be fine"
  18. GET DOWN GM!!!!!! Hearing that just makes me shickled tittless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Heres what I know. I have already seen ten to fifteen people come through the door as salesman introduced me to their customers. After talking to them, they all said they were border line about buying from GM, until they saw the warranty. It seems to be working here.
  20. Its sort of a cross between a subaru and a scion, I like it!!!!!!!

    On the Brink

Gas in Indy and Lexington is around 2.02!!!
  22. i sure do wish they would use Grand Lemans again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. But, the thing is, Suzuki also does not offer road side asst. or courtesy transportation from the dealership either. Plus, if you want the "bumper to bumper" extended, buy an EXTENDED WARRANTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO GM GO!!!!!!!!
  24. While it is exciting to see new developments in technology, I enjoy the art of driving. its not just a way to get from point "A" to point "B". I love driving my car!!!!!! i really hope that i can still drive my car in 25 years.
  25. I have seen photoshop pics of the gnx, but i wonder if there is any substance to the idea!!!! I dont know if it will help the security of Buick but it is a kick a$$ idea!!!!!
