Yes, I did mean stylistically. Although it is retro in its grand sweeping style, details like the headlights and tailights, flush glass, and clean surfaces are very modern. I confused it with another concept actually...this is indeed a 1977 Pontiac Phantom.

Interior pics...close up of the steering wheel that's causing so much debate!

Not happy that they are moving away from the dual port, although it is still clearly referenced in this evolved look. The upper grille opening should be smaller than the lower in my opinion, with the bumper splitting the two (as sorta done on the Sonic). I'm frustrated that they missed the chance (AGAIN!!!) to do a proper triple tail lamp arrangement. They have so much space to work with in the back. I get what they did (red-white-red), but considering the Malibu gets shoehorned with huge dual tail lamps....I expected better. The character lines carved into the sides are pretty damn nice (evoking a strong '57 Chevy feel almost!). The interior would work better with more subtle color arrangements. Not liking the headlights. This car deserves dual round lights, not a single smushed between amber markers. Clown-face LED runners in the bumper openings are also a bit...meh. Best angle (IMO) is from the rear...like this: But...despite my groaning...it's growing on me (the more live pics I see of it!)

Chrome crossbar?! That design language ended more than 5 years ago! On topic: I'm quite surprised by this grille design. On one hand, its more balanced and proportional to the whole vehicle, but then, its more watered down, and less distinctive. It's still an upper and lower grille (dual port), but less defined as such. They also cheated. To give the headlights a more horizontal look, they blacked out the tops! The new tails have that euro-Camaro goggle look?! Better use of space, moving the licence plate from the bumper.

That BMW 5 GT...looks...retarded, in the literal sense!

All 3 are must haves for me. The hunt begins!
