  1. This is a nice looking vehicle. The interior has a "rugged" look, but is still quite slick. Now, you can't argue taste, I suppose, but the front end is a bit snub-nosed for me. And is anyone gonna use the third row? It looks just as cramped as a Highlander, and let me tell you that Highlander third rows can't be used by anyone over 6.
  2. Apparently this isn't the case...I read an article somewhere (sorry that I don't have a source) saying that the average turnaround on the Caliber is 10 days. Dodge lots are just flying through them! This seems obvious but I'm just comfirming it...Caliber marketed to men, Compass to women? I was really surprised when DCX axed the Neon (big female car) for the "macho" Caliber, but if they think women are going to buy the Caliber, then it makes sense, I guess.
  3. I've got a summer job cleaning new cars at a Toyota dealership (a great job, except for the Toyota cars ), and one day I spent a good solid 10 minutes staring at a Camry 'cause there was nothing else to do. When I look at the car, I see the last-gen Camry, a little Chrysler 300, and just a touch of Lexus 350. The profile is flat-out gorgeous. I was looking at it at eye level and there isn't a bad curve on it. The back is okay. I think it's one of those things that could grow on you when you get used to it. The interior is nice, although I really think that the wood trim just doesn't look good. It's too bright and too forced, almost as forced as the wood trim in the Corolla LE (wood trim in a Corolla, are you kidding?). The 300 is the same way when it has wood...it's like some cars put it in because they know it will bring certain people in to buy it. The front end is... atrocious. Sorry. There is no redeeming value to the grille. The sportier LE is *kind of* okay, but anything else is not good. And, like a lot of Toyota design elements, it's not even original! Look at an Mazda MPV or 3. But even their models don't look as bad. I think it's because of the freakin' huge Toyota logo and the fact that it's on top of the grille. Haven't driven em around much yet. They don't let us go too fast anyways :/ Anywho, it's better than the FJ!
