  1. No. Statistics show that dark coloured cars are least likely to be hit by the "bombs from the sky". White is the most vulnerable colour.
  2. Comparing oranges to apples. The Maxx was never designed with looks or style on mind. But if I had to choose, G6.
  3. Take my Cavalier, drop in a 3400 V6 Ram Air. Or a LS2 V8 if it fits, although I doubt it will. Keep the 14" "deluxe wheel covers" intact. Now THAT's how a sleeper should look like.
  4. I don't think it'll work with the 3rd gens (say: mine) because of the shape right?
  5. Pacific Mall. You have to FIGHT to get your spots, don't think you'll get your spot if you stop, signal then get into your spot. It won't work. And there are endless blind housewives who tend to hit your car, driving their Camrys.
  6. Volvo lost those black mouldings recently. My dad's 2000 had them, but the recent models have body coloured ones.
  7. As I mentioned in my other thread, we should add a section to review cars, both new and used. Time to silent those paid thugs who bash GM (or American cars in general) for whatever reason.
  8. You did BV? Oh... my fault then... What's not? :P Something about that I don't like animals that much. SPCA's gonna sue me some day...
  9. Drove one last night....................... in GT4. Smoked my friend with his EK9 Civic Type-R :P
  10. For me, when the Fiero is one year old. Oh, BV, one for you for 1988: The year that the Fiero was discontinued. Die, cats, DIE! -OR- call it the year of the Fiero Formula
  11. Call it a used car review, just to keep everything covered ;) Imagine C&G changing into a full-blown community-led automotive mag/site with everything...
  12. It looks like they're designing the parts so that they can rebadge it as a Saab easily. The edge of the headlights do resemble to that of a Saab.
  13. Here: http://pong.server2vh.com/~cheers/forums/i...p?showtopic=426 Nobody looked maybe because my name was there  :P
  14. I'm still having a hard time promoting GM to people around me. Well, American cars in general. And my friend is trying to get me off an American car.
  15. I remember a while ago when I was checking the washer fluid under the hood on my Cavalier at a gas station in Waterloo, a guy come up to me: "I like how the alternator is in the front of the engine. Is that an Accord?" I closed the hood and showed him the Chevy badge on the front.
  16. No, that type of thinking is wrong, BV. Remember why C&G existed in the first place? It's all the crap out there so that we are trying a fresh start to have unbiased views on cars! We can't bias towards Pontiac! :P
  17. I won't be buying or leasing the car until next year anyways. That's when my lease is up. :P
  18. Well I was just thinking of stuff I can do over the weekends. I'll just go to a dealer, grab a tester, take some pics and write an article. Good for me (as I am researching my next car) and good for the site. I'll try to make the article as "professional" as possible. Drivers reviewing the cars they drive. That's my idea. Call it a counter attack on paid "professionals" like the one starting with the big E.
  19. I found that one somewhere and posted it on a thread earlier.
  20. If you look at the Aveo, there's still one that has no designation. I guess what Chevy is trying to appeal that the others are more of a premium model, so in a sense that models got "upgraded" on the badge side.
  21. Looks like it got a speedbump, from 140hp to 144hp. Or is it just the new testing scheme again?
  22. I guess this was brought up before and sounds a bit unrealistic, but should we start a section to review cars and have test drive reports or something like that?
  23. Check on eBay for that diecast. I've seen some auctions with lower prices than that site.
  24. The lineup's fine. But one thing is missing: differentiation.
