  1. It's surprisingly pleasant and fresh. I like it more than the sedan. I'm also loving the wheels..

It's bare bones, but fashionably so.
  3. ??? Hydrogen is just a liquid form of electricity that requires tons of energy to obtain. Reducing energy consumption is the easiest solution, not some magical alternative fuel. And anyway, water vapor is a greenhouse gas, too.

Agreed. It seems to be the most well-rounded. It's comfortable, safe, practical, sporty, economical, classy, well-priced...
  5. Sweet. This time they should send over the SWB and V6 models.

For me... R32 - practical, well-rounded, pricey to buy and maintain A4 - classy, but rather get a 330i STI - ugly, noisy, nerdy, miserable, will be vandalized GTO - great car, inconspicuous, great value, hopeless in snow I'd get the GTO because snow and trunk space aren't a concern for me. If I lived in NY and needed a large trunk, I'd get the R32.
  7. MINI should have stayed with CP&B... who practically invented the whole guerilla/viral marketing thing. They stuck MINIs onto the roofs of Excursions and drove around cities, and made satirical infomercials and fake movies all before it was cool... http://www.counterfeitmini.org http://www.motormate.com Now all they've got with BSS&P is Hammer & Coop... http://www.hammerandcoop.com
  8. Isn't the next Prius going to be li-ion, plug-in, albeit a parallel hybrid? How efficient are electric motors on the highway compared to ICEs?
  9. The drop-down front spoiler would be nice. The Tahoe Hybrid and Lambdas look awful with permanent ones.
  10. Very nice. How is the X5 doing?
  11. California regs for passenger cars is Tier 2 Bin 5, too...
  12. For $5000 more, you could get a V8...
  13. Looks like a '90s GM concept car.
  14. Very nice. Reminds me of the old 3.0 CSL.
  15. They're saving creativity for the Saturn showrooms, I'm guessing. By looking relatively new and professional, they think they don't need an original idea or concept. But I've noticed that GM is generally very weak at branding. Ford (Lincoln-Mercury, Volvo, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover, except for Ford) is much better... you can immediately tell just by looking at their autoshow displays, graphics, and brochures.

Avenger/Sebring makes sense in the $15-19K segment because it has the size of a $19-26K midsizer with the quality of a $11-15K subcompact. As it is, you have to be a complete DCX nuthead to spend Accord or Camry money on one, IMO.
  17. Both look cheap, but at least the Astra's is kinda techy and refreshing.
  18. 17" steelies must be incredibly heavy.

The Avenger/Sebring are hopeless compared to other midsizers, but they might stand a chance against compacts, IMO. Offer a manual, reduce the price by $1500, and market them as Civic and Corolla competitors.
  20. That's nice. The closest PBG dealer here looks like a trailer park.
  21. Oh I've seen those before... and I looked at the nutrition facts, and under "calcium" there was 0%.
  22. pow replied to BrewSwillis's topic in Chrysler
Meh, the ads are too trashy.
  23. Looks like a slightly more interesting G6 coupe, but it's hardly unique or refreshing.

This will probably be 5 times more expensive than the A5. They're only making 500, and they're all sold out. It's based on that new Maserati coupe.
