Saturn's new mid-size sedan adds Aura to the brand
I didn't realize the Aura will have quattro or a manual transmission. I look forward to driving one!

VW Tiguan!
Sketch looks great, though... more interesting and dynamic than the Freelander.

2007 Jeep Compass Limited 4x4 - with Pics
When Jeep first released the Compass (in puke green), I hated it, but it looks much better in silver, IMO. It's funky in a cubist, X3 sort-of-way, and I think it will look better as time goes by.

C&G Exclusive - 2008 Enclave Spy Shots!
The weight of the Lambdas are fine; I'm more worried about their enormous size, and how that will affect sales of the newly-released GMT900s. Given the costs required for a new platform, I thought that perhaps something like a Highlander, a Camry wagon on stilts, would have been cheaper for GM, while still producing similar results. FWIW... Acadia/Yukon Wheelbase: 118.9/116.0 Length: 201.1/202.0 Width: 78.9/79.0 Height: 72.8/76.9 Few people take their posh Yukon off-roading or towing, so most buyers are better off in the lighter, roomier Acadia. Let's hope consumers will continue to be irrational...

So I bought myself a car...
Congrats! I'm looking for a car, and a used 9-5 Aero is one possibility for me.

LaCrosse CXL review
I'm picky, too, but I prefer gas struts to gooseneck hinges. They generally allow for more forehead clearance. Welcome to the forum, btw.

Which Warehouse Club do you prefer?
The quality of their produce has been worsening recently here... we had to throw away a pineapple, half a watermelon, and some grapes. And they installed our directional tires wrong. Besides that, Costco has been pretty good, though it's not really that much cheaper compared to products on sale elsewhere.

C&G Exclusive - 2008 Enclave Spy Shots!
I see the VUE as a cute-ute, comparable to the CR-V and Escape, not as $25-$30K "midsizers" like the Highlander or Pilot. But, yes, the VUE had the perfect size for its class. The Rendezvous... I was about to edit my post and include it. It was a bit eccentric and flawed, IMO, but it sold well for what it was.

But you can fault GM for releasing two similar SUVs consecutively. Why go through all the trouble of developing a new platform only to divert attention from their existing 7-8 passenger SUV? Even if you ignore gas prices, it doesn't make much sense. And besides, even if the Lambdas were a bit smaller, what's taking them so long? GM seems awfully slow in reacting to product trends. They let midsize crossovers, minivans, and hybrids completely slip by.

C&G Exclusive - 2008 Enclave Spy Shots!
I'm sure the Enclave will be a great truck, but it will also be the eighth or ninth 7-8 passenger, 5000-6000 lb GM SUV released this year. With gas prices rising (I paid $3.79/gal for premium yesterday), it seems like such poor product planning. GM has proven that they can execute competent products; now they need to make wiser business decisions. A lighter, cheaper Epsilon-based (Malibu on stilts?) crossover or stretched Theta would probably serve the same purpose as the Lambdas, if not attract even more buyers (those conscious about fuel prices) without cannabilizing GMT900 sales. I've always been baffled by the sales of Lexus's $45,000 RX, when considering its cheap, Camry underpinnings.

Top Gear: Vauxhall Vectra v. Ford Mondeo v. Mazda6
We don't get exactly the same cars, but the review is still relevant (besides being entertaining) as the Vauxhall is related to our Malibu/G6/Aura/9-3 and the Mazda is related to our Ford Fusion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6UrigjFYD8&search=top%20gear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2n_CkHoWc6s&search=top%20gear That's some SERIOUS understeer...

:Toyota: bumper sticker?
With that said, if someone, say, leased me a Prius, I'd love to rebadge it "Pious" and put "I'm better than you!" stickers next to the single-HOV-lane-OK tag. Or for our Odyssey, if it were true: "On it's THIRD transmission!"
