Scion News: Rumorpile: Scion FR-S Convertible To Appear In Late 2013 Or 2014
Ideally I want that, but I discussed the less ideal scenario.

Cadillac News: Rumorpile: Another Day, Another Omega Platform Rumor
There is an S350 V6 that produces measly 272 hp. So yes this is an S class competitor. If you dream of Caddy being global then accept the fact that this Caddy will have smaller less powerful engine. BMW has 740i in USA that produces dinky 318 hp. With your analogy, S350 is also a Bumdai competitor with a weaker engine.

Scion News: Rumorpile: Scion FR-S Convertible To Appear In Late 2013 Or 2014
I hope GM is watching the development of these vehicles very closely. With Code 130R concept already in place, it should not be a big deal and time to turn the car into reality to give the ToySciRu triplets stiff competition.

Cadillac News: Rumorpile: Another Day, Another Omega Platform Rumor
Omega will probably realize Caddy's dream of having 7er and Bentley competitors. I see three may be four body styles. Per C&D there will not be any non Caddy on this platform. Buick may get its flagship from Alpha.

I have never seen a car with such a dual personality. It is live-wire yet composed. It is fast yet can be sedate. It is loud and yet it is quiet. It is the most schizophrenic car I have ever driven. I had fortune of driving C6 Z06 thrice for short times previously but they were all tracking persona. More I ease into it the more I see how Jeckyl and Hyde the car is.

GM News: Déjà Vu: GM Really Wants a Slice of Isuzu Motors
What's next, 20% stake in Suzuki, 20% stake in Subaru, 50% stake in Fiat? I think GM is scared about the cash in its coffers being eyed by other companies especially the investment firms.

Chevrolet News:*UPDATE* Spying: Chevrolet Sliverado/GMC Sierra On The Road Again
With the new Z71 appearance package consisting of body colored bumpers, the 2500 HD Chevy looks actually better than the GMC IMHO.

CNG, What would it take to convert you and the rest of America?
This. Actual conversion can be had for sub $1K if the "need" from EPA did not exist.

Porsche News: Rumorpile: Porsche Overhauling Its Entire Lineup By 2016
So basically Porsche and Audi are going downmarket and upmarket simultaneously and them compete with VW, which wants to expand as well. Sounds like path that GM took to failure earlier with brands saturation.

Cadillac News: Spying: Cadillac CTS, Now On The Streets
Yes this screamed luxury as well. Look at the clubbed baby seal leather and electronics in the dash.

From PA to CA in a 1938 Dodge?
That is a good news.

Chevrolet News:Goodbye Mr. Avalanche
If Honda can keep its pathetic truck running with an annual sales of less than what the Avalanche had, I see no reason for GM to discontinue the truck. GM as usual stopped marketing it and let it rot. The problem with Avalanche was it was over priced compared to a Crew Cab by ~5,500. That is a lot of money. With more expensive and volume trucks being its platform mates, with diesel and more efficient powertrains this truck could certainly be viable.

Porsche News: Porsche Unveils The New Cayenne GTS
Lost the mojo after losing the 6-speed manual. The older one with stick shift was ridiculousness over a ridiculous vehicle from Porsche, and hence was ridiculously desirable.

GM News: GM Announces Pricing For The Cadillac XTS and Chevrolet Spark
FT-86 went in design late 2007 and the production ceremony was held in March 2012. Yeah that is 2-3 years. Rather 2+3 = 5 years. VW Up concept was shown in 2007 and still is not in production. Yeah that is 2-3 years. Again rather 2+3 = 5 years.

Buick News: Buick Offering A 24 Month Lease To Up Sales
Adding nothing to GM's bottom line in the process. VW group can sell enough vehicles with seven different brands and make profit at better margin in its home W. European market, which is similar size to United States market, much to GM's envy. It was not number of brands but mismanagement of brands. Meanwhile at Toyota whose market share consists mostly of two brands... Did I mention their market share is larger than VW's? Also how many times are going to go down this road in unrelated threads? f@#k's sake. Read first before throwing a hissy fit. I never mentioned market share. Prove me wrong on the counts of VW brands, vehicles sold in EU in 2011, and VW profits. Again in Japan, which is Toyota's home country Toyota operates under 4 brands. In USA, there is Scion, Toyota, Lexus that is one plus one plus one which is three, may be my elementary math is incorrect. Toyota sales are measly 560,000 of ~14 million in Europe. Yeah it consists of mostly two brands....... Pointing to the incorrect statement is not going down the same road for your f@#k's sake.
