  1. Ranger rololin coal at ab out the 9:30 mark...lots of these are funny.
  2. That would bode well for a diesel as a future purchase. Thank you. Just skip ahead to 7:25 where he gets on it, damn this sounds good. Or watch the whole video if you wish.
  3. Yeah, i thought it was odd, but those were his actual numbers. He frequently sees above 20 with that truck.
  4. I really want one for camping and maybe towing a trailer. So I would use it as God and GG (or Ford, or Ram) intended. Got in a bit of trouble... Diesel trucks are interesting because if you want to drive to say South America the quality of diesel si apparently not always good enough to work with modern emissions systems.
  5. Neat old Ford Pic.
  6. Things are moving in the right direction in some ways. I really love the thought of a diesel full size pickup truck though. All 3 of the big three build some compelling vehicles in this regard. On the more humerous side...
  7. Arizona needs to crack down also, impound trucks, fine drivers. Fines should go up for repeat offenders. Severely. This is kind of sad at the Auto Mechanics program at the community Colelge my wife works for, GM and Ford donate a ton of vehicles and money, and a lot of the mechanics go on to work for Kia, Toyota, and Honda dealers.
  8. They really need to crack down on this here in Ohio. Seriously. Fine people and impound trucks. Financial pentalties for this houdl be severe. Do not mind the Diesel Brothers being fined. Glad someone did it.
  9. That's really good for both vehicles, esp. with size. 3.0 TD would be extremy appealing.
  10. Yeah....with the ecoboost I frequently find myself driving at 80 in the Ranger and not even noticing it.
  11. I am at 25.4 lifetime on the Ranger. I have given up trying to figure out ecoboost fuel economy. Buddies dad...F150 3.5 Ecoboost crew cab 4WD, loaded, towing loaded trailer...running 75-80....all the way to Denver and back from Columbus...27.6 for the trip. He has reciepts. Trailer was fairly laoded down. Unreal fuel economy for a fullsize truck. Friends Tundra 2wd struggles to make 13 or 14 on flat level ground running 55.
  12. None of the four is soemthing I want in my driveway. Hard pass....and I get your point...
  13. I guess he didn't kill his girlfriend yet...MINI road trip.
  14. I know you were. I think Toyotas failure to update product is pretty relevant given how far behind teh curve the Tundra is as a full size truck.
  15. Thanks for the links, will listen a bit when I get home!
  16. Getting back to vehicles, the RAM looks damn fine set up as an overlanding rig. I do like the idea of fueling at home. As Balthazar said, Thread Cleanse.
  17. My dad was born in 1939....amazing how much the world has changed since then.
  18. Very sorry to hear ab out this. It's scary stuff. On the bright side, a morning ride through Milwaukee. Enjoy...have a great day, everyone.
  19. GeeBee...
  20. I think Ultim and the GM self driving tech makes GM the one automotive stock worth buying. When you look at how over priced tesla stock is for what it is, and the real potential of GM with BEV, Hybrid and gas tech....like I said in teh Random thoughts thread....for the first time in a long time I am bullish on the American automakers. ...and Hyundai....I think the future belongs to the Kroeans, the Americans, and the Chinese, not the Japanese or the Europeans.
  21. ....good to see you back. My sister just bought an Escalade and loves it, thought of you when she drove it home. I now have a Ford and a Chevy in my driveway so I am all domestic...my Daughter jsut boguth a Z06 (C6) thought of you when she brought that home. GM should do very well with the electric tech they are developing, for the first time in years I am kind of bullish and optomistic about the US auto industry. But I am going to put an little Euro love in here, Ducati....love Euro motorbikes.
