Speaking of Texas, part of me wants to check out Houston. But I don't want to spend money in a state that's deep red like that. Exactly. Harley Davidson is cooked. The sell by date is gone for the company. People say bikes aren't selling, but I know a bunch of people that ride them, can count Harley riders on my fingers.

The Ford debacle of the Fiesta/Focus/Escape transmission cost them dearly, as they pissed off a lot of buyers. They have discontinued the Fiesta and Focus, and I think they are discontinuing the Escape also. Which is sad, because they sold a metric crap ton of Escapes, just like they sold a metric crap ton of Taurus. So interested to see the 2026 Taurus, Focus, Fiesta, Escape.....Ohhh wait. Ford is a company that I love and love to crap on....but my two favorite vehicles of the 30 plus I have owned or had as a company vehicle...my 66 Mustang Fastback and my Current Ranger....both Ford products. And the Maverick is hot enough to f##k....I love that little truck. And no, I don't mean the actual physical act. But its not just Ford without a dipstick as you mention, Subaru has a ton of transmission failures with their CVT in part because they advertise lifetime fluid in the US market. In other markets the exact same transmission has a service interval.

God doesn't exist, America sucks in so many ways (and not in others, I give credit to what it does right) and MAGA will cry crocodile tears over the black cheerleader also.

....broken record mode....retiring elsewhere....broken record mode...it isn't going to get better...broken record mode, FAFO Automakers getting hit hard. One reason that I now like the idea of something like a modern Subaru Crosstrek to cruise around in rather than a vintage pickup truck. Modern exitics do nothing for me, this is sort of like watching toilet paper burn for me. MAGA is frothing at the mouth, Which is stupid, high school and middle school teams have male cheerleaders. I consider myself a bit of a feminist, and believe in equality and treating women well. But they (or the 98% that aren't lesbians) like the big "D" as much as half the folks that used to post here do.

I am very fortunate to be married to a woman with a great family. Glad I didn't continue dating several women with insane families. Latin America draws me. Ford screwed the pooch on its small car and small SUV transmissions. Where are the small Fords now....ohhhhh wait.....they are out of production.

On the automotive side, this is absolutely gorgeous. Not sure why it isn't showing the car... More economic bad news. Lots of stores empty that are normally full here in central Ohio, restaurants also. We will see where all this goes...
