  1. It's cousin is no slouch in yellow.. Obviously...even Toyotas have thier limits... Speaking of yellow...
  2. I can appreciate that. Ford has such nice blues, would love that in blue. People want grey, silver, black or white anymore for the most part anyways. Cactus Grey in the bronco has really grown on me. Snazzberry looks good on gladiator/Wrangler. Focus ST is another car that looks good in Orange. Best looking orange car ever, IMHO.
  3. Always liked odd colors on 60's Pontiacs. Iris mist 65 GTO would be the bomb. I love it. See I would buy it in the orange. Actually, in a wierd reversal of things....I would trade it in on a Raptor. Ford has a color called Blue Jeans which looks fantastic. The Bowns of the 70's were fantastic. 70's green looks good also IMHO. Although hard to go bad with basic black.
  4. I like this pair, father and son... Thjey ahve a lot fo fun, make a lot of sense...
  5. Hella yella looks good on the new 2020/2021 Wrangler. Orange looked good on the 69 Camaro and SS 396 Chevelle, 69 Judge, etc. As much as I am going to wash my fingers with soap for even typing this, the Kia Soul looks fantastic in bright colors (Horse heads for soap for typing this...) Depends on the vehicle. Some Street rods look good in yellow or Orange....the Coupe from American Graffiti for example. I can see why Yellow would be a poor choice on a HD Diesel truck. Or a B59. But Mayfair Maze was a fantastic color for 1960's Pontiacs. But 1960's Pontiacs and 1930's Fords are some of the most aestheically pleasing vehicles ever built...they would still look good covered in cow shit for that matter. And with a two tone white, GMC/Chevy trucks of the 67/72 Era looked good in orange. Or the period Yellow. I would rock one without complaint.
  6. That moment when you realize your Chevy work truck and your McLaren F1 have been getting it on between the sheets.... ...and they looked good in every single one of them.
  7. One of the guys I used to autocross with had a huge collection of restored vingage bicycles. Was really cool. Haven't seen that dude for years.
  8. People don't get on automotive forums to be happy....they go on them to be miserable. Want to find a group of guys who really don't like Mustangs...go to the Mustang forums...lots of guys bitching there. People really don't want to be happy, and often they alck the emotional security to be happy regardless of what life brings them. I love all three trucks, the Rubicon, the super duty, and the Chevy. they Chevy looks damn near perfect just like THAT IMHO. Also, the super duty with the bigger tires and lift is just the bomb. Agree on less is more. While I had flags on the roof of my MINI Cooper S, I decided not to put stripes on my 70 Chevelle or 71 Chevelle, or either of my Miatas. I like a really clean look with any vehicle. More and more I just like all black, including the rims. I love that retro font. Design in many ways was so much better in the 1950's. Allison trans would push me towards GM were I to buy a diesel truck.
  9. Agree on Denali.
  10. Exactly what I did with the Ranger. Be curious to see what you get, seriously. ....and one reason your new truck will never be in repro when you buy it, unlike so many people.
  11. The Gladiator at about 9:46 is amazing.
  12. I like her better than the car.....! Don't feel bad, I am looking at Wranglers and wodnering about the upcoming Bronco. I really like the looks of the new GMC. Alot. I just bought a new truck, as did Drew...cmon...join the club!
  13. I prefer a car fit for humans....this is fit for a Money, Kia Soul fit for a hamster. Please bring me a car for humans... Amazing the difference between a crappy SUV and a real off road vehicle.
  14. I do see GM as a leader in developing this tech....hence my previous comment about a BEV Blazer. I think it would be kick ass!!
  15. In my case used truck market, prices so clsoe to new made sense to buy new. Love this modified Jeep...
  16. Speaking of the electric F150.... I love that Ford is doing this. And a bit of ICE love, adore this old Chevy!
  17. I would have to check on the actual year. I think it is about 4 years old.
  18. I do the same thing kind of. Especially if I am just looking, I do not intend to waste their time or their gasolene with a test drive. Sadly, didn't buy a Gladiator. My salesperson at Jeep was just stellar. Was not interested enough in the Ridgeline to darken the door of the Honda showroom. In a truck frame of mind...love this just fine as ICE...worth every moment to watch.
  19. Actually this discussion is helpful to me as I am learning something about myself as a car buyer and will do it smarter the next time. When I have a bad experience at a dealership, even a dealership I trust, time to try another dealership. Byers has always been good to me, but they kind of let me down this car buying cycle. Had a less than stellar experience with Byers Toyota when I looked at the Tacoma and a dismal experience with Byers Chevrolet when I looked at the Colorado. Both dealers really pushed hard to sell me a crew cab 4wd instead of an extended cab 2wd, and were just not that productive to deal with in terms of checking out the vehicle. Not sure some of the subjective in my mind here is not just my particular experience and not the powerplant. That being said, we have a Traverse as a company vehicle at work that I drive on a fairly regualr basis and an not terribly impressed with it. I really need to get a rental with a 3600 in a RWD configuration and spend some quality time with it when I am not looking at a vehicle to come up with an intelligent opinion I think.
  20. It just didn't feel very responsive. To be fair, I only drove one truck, could have been an issue with that particular truck. But after driving it, Colorado was behind Ranger, Gladiator, and Tacoma in terms of how the power train felt. Just my subjective experience. I will have to try it in a Camaro then. ...and I really don't "want" to dislike the 3600. Would love to own a Blazer V6, given my desire for a mid size SUV as an eventual vehicle as a driveway mate for the Ranger. If the 3600 in the blazer drove well, I definitely would move it up on my list.
  21. Yes I do. I have no problem with the DOHC, just was less impressed with the 3600 when I drove it. For most of the country, not just Tesla. Would love to see Ford build an electric Super Duty for heavyduty use....these people could use a good EV.
  22. I am getting old, that is just my back. Luckjily, they should have the bugs worked out before I buy one, unless I buy a Bronco instead. All the more reason to ahve onboard welding capacity on your rig.
  23. Can you imagine the crawl ratio with one properly set up? Kind of the ultimate Blazer....Rock crawling saturday morning, smooth and quiet to the country club or dinner Saturday night. I agree with you. I think Vw will botch the electric car launch and damage what breand equity they have left.
