  1. Glad it saved your life, though!
  2. As a lover of hot small cars...sounds like it might be fun!
  3. Roger..regular Cab GMC sounds fantastic.....
  4. I agree with Olds....
  5. Neat vehicle, but in its own way it lacks finesse.... Several other small vehicles I like better, actually....
  6. http://hooniverse.com/2012/04/20/vandals-destroy-56-studebaker-and-25-model-t/ http://www.edmontonjournal.com/news/Vandals+burn+prized+antique+cars+video/6486777/story.html#ooid=RxNjhpNDq4gH0nS0PgtlC-wHKwAw9_MJ Link to Video....
  7. Agree with Riv...I like what I see of the new GM!
  8. Sounds like a plan... The jeep itch never goes away....
  9. So,got the MINI Cooper S after wanting one for ten years...I've owned the two Tri five Chevies I wanted as a kid (55 two door post and 57 belair hardtop....)...I've enjoyed autocrossing the Miata...I've owned the Mustang fastback I';ve alays wanted...Loved Chevelles, owned two long term... So what's next for me....? getting the Miata to a better state of auto cross preparedness....and I think I'd like to build a factory Five Roadster. Saving money towards that end right now. What is your next goal, or project? Didn't start this thread to talk about me...I want to hear what's up with YOU!
  10. Which I why I haven't been around as much...
  11. dfelt...I so agree with you on the Monte Carlo thing...
  12. One can hope...brother of a co worker made 70K sweeping floors at a ford Truck plant in New Jersey. I am all for workers rights, but the union thing is out of control.
  13. Although the local SCCA car has more than 250 at the wheels...I've ridden in it at events...it is a beast....
  14. Oh, and this is almost a dead clone of one of our local SCCA cars that is also a daily driver.... Enjoy! http://video.search.yahoo.com/video/play?&c=8&p=factory+five&vid=c48b72b2efa9455c2bf32be56d6fc5df&dt=1312416000&l=13&turl=http%3A%2F%
  15. Kit cars have an MSO, manufacturers statement of Origin. Our local SCCA guys and local Miata Club set up events for the Ohio Cobra Club...getting one registered and titled is stupid simple, I am thinking hard about a Factory Five Cobra Myself. Here is how it works...take the receipts of what you bought to build the car with the manufacturers MSO # mftrs. plate to the Ohio Highway patrol...they check your build to make sure you didn't do anything stupid....and then they give you a vin # and a Vin plate that's good in all 50 states if you move. In Ohio, kit cars don't even have to pass smog...one of the guys I race with has a 550 HP Roush Racing 351 Windsor in his car, not cats...a big old Holly Carb on top of the 351....and it's legal to run anywhere, pretty much. Not sure about Cali, though.
