  1. This should fit C and G current feelings about Japanese cars.... Yet another ride I truely lust... Miura Body shell in white...Miura rivals E type jag as one of the nicest looking cars ever IMHO. I just love this shot....
  2. Of all the cars I want in life, this is one I want more than most....AWESOME old Z car... 64 Galaxie was one of my fav. cars as a Kid, blue one like this lived down the street and around the corner from me, I used to pass it every day during the summer riding my bike... mmm...yes! Moar The Subie is nice, but the Mustang in the background is to die for, I swear... One of the best looking cars the Mopar boys ever built, if you ask me. Perhaps the best looking car ever built.... Ummmm...yeah....maybe one of the best looking American cars ever built....I (Obviously) love anything early Mustang fastback related... I have a growing fetish for pre-WWII cars....Love the look of this... You knew I couldn't stop with just one pic of the shelby.... More Mustang love.... Okay...if you guys really do insist...I'll post a GM pic since I posted a Ford pic...breaks me heart (NOT!) to post this... Since I know Camino enjoys second gens more than first....I guess I'll try to make him happy... This makes me miss my old 55... One for OCNBLU in Black... Yet another I I want so damned bad...and its Ford powered....
  3. Have fun dude, and I am highly jealous of all of the road trips you have taken. Raising a family and working have kept me from doing this....but now that we have the MINI Cooper S and a little more time...the open road may well be ours.
  4. Screaming, hot tires are a sign that you are pushing the car and approaching the limits. Good luck and have fun!
  5. I do, but I like the Regal and Verano better. The car I most like right now though is the Golf TDI. If VW gets its act together on this thing, Scion/Subaru, Buick, and everyone else is going to be SOL when I buy my next car, methinks. But then again, VW has had some of the same chronic issues for quite awhile so....it's still an open race.
  6. It's a good thing...the MINI is 10 years old, the Miata is 11, my work truck is 11, my other work truck is 16 years old, wife/son's car is a 2005 but has almost 200k.... And all of them pretty much have the wheels driven off of them...;work trucks are going 6-7 days a week, the cars are regularly beaten into submission on an autocross course....and we just keep chugging along....
  7. Oh, and as an avid SCCA/Buckeye Miata Club/Porsche Club of America Autocrosser.... You have some damned fine driving there sir, with some really cool, smooth moments behind the wheel! My hat is off to you sir! Just remember if you don't get the car sideways once in awhile, or eventually loose control, your not going fast enough/having enough fun. Racing is about finding the limit, and you can never find it unless you exceed it once in awhile. Watched the video through again...your really starting to get it on the final run. EXCELLENT!
  8. Glad your enjoying it, more to come!
  9. Have fun, I'll be doing the same thing this next Sunday. Last time I had the Miata turning faster times than a couple of Cobras.... Bug would be fun to auto-X, although like the GTI it is a nose heavy car. FWD is fun to autocross, its easier to be smooth.
  10. Stu;id name or not, Honda is falling behind. Hard to believe the ILX is that good of a car chassis wise, as the current Civic SI was a real disappointment, IMHO.
  11. Yeah, while I like the BRz/FR-S okay, this thing is butt ugly. Not much...
  12. Agree with you there, Olds!
  13. I'll have to test drive an ILX sometime to check it out but... between the two, my money would be on the Verano.
  14. Yes in a lot of ways we do... But in the actual modern Trans Am series they are all tube frame monsters with not a whole lot in common with a road car...I miss the earlier era.
  15. Vaughn and the Mustang beat the Imports in formula drift.... Glad to see this. I obviously love some imported sports cars, but as the father of three teenagers (two of them sons) It's nice to see Domestics represented in a way that will appeal to the younger set. They need to know and love and respect American Iron too, dammit!

  17. No Idea at all...was hoping someone here would know.
  18. I remember a lot of cool Buicks as a kid... Back when they came with 455's from the factory...THOSE were cars, my friend.
  19. Maybe for you two, but this is the beauty queen I'd be voting for: I'm with you pal... I wonder if they would have put a Tri power in a 4 door? I don't really know....but wasn't the 57 Olds available as a Tri power? ...and OMFG...I am just spechless with the photograph of that Olds.
