  1. Ew, those aftermarket wheel opening moldings don't go with the sporty theme atall....
  2. Will someone please introduce me to this "pizza peel" thing? Can I order it on TV, along with spray-on hair and Ginsu knives?

  4. That photo was posted here earlier at C&G by one of our members. It is his car, and he admitted (with a chuckle) that he doctored the photo.
  5. I think the Biscayne is interesting, and better looking than some production cars of the era. It's built low and sporty. And it's made of fiberglass, so rust isn't a possibility. The Strato Streak is also very cool. Are there any more pics of it and the Biscayne?

  7. K-fed is a kept man, which makes him a laughing stock to all the real rappers. He won't dare talk about slappin' no ho with a big ol' pregnant, fat, black-haired Britney standing there holding the purse strings.
  8. Good review, I'd have to agree with almost everything except the comfort issues you're having, but then I'm only 5'5". I do have an area on the outer edge of the driver's seat just above the recliner mechanism where the seat foam is a bit collapsed from jumping in and out, (a trait brought forward from the S-10s). I have 39k miles on my Colorado, purchased January 23rd, 2004. My mileage has been anywhere from 19.3 to 23.7 as an all-time best. I have the 3.5, five speed and 3.73 posi. What kind of wheels did you put on yours, tama? Is the offset stock, or do they stick out further than factory?
  9. Yup... 15 inchers are going the way of the covered wagon, I'm afraid, especially in the odd, 6 lug bolt circle of the GMT355. The chrome parts I'm thinking of buying are made of the same stuff as OE. For example, the mirror caps will only cover the mirror head, much like the '99-'02 uplevel GMT800 trucks, before they went to all-black (I see GM now has a "chrome package" option, which returns the mirror caps and adds door handles to the outgoing 800 pickups). The handle covers come complete, covering the cove and the handle. I would only put the handle part on and leave the cove black, then only use the handle cover for the tailgate, not the bezel. This would brighten it up without overdoing it, imo.
  10. Because of the complicated and most likely problematic European electronics, it would have behooved them to place the Escalade first. I don't remember the last time I've even seen a laughably crappy QX56. The Q7 reminds me of an ocean liner. I don't think it will sell based on looks. The Mercedes G-class has gone from old-money cool and class to upper-end Wal-Mart with this new model. Escalade is a better vehicle.
  11. I have decided to keep my truck for the foreseeable future. It runs great and returns good mileage for what it is. So I'm looking into some mild pimping options. Today I ordered a grille for it, with a carbon-fiber-look frame and chrome factory-style mesh, along with a billet bowtie (which I may refuse, I think I prefer the factory gold one to match the one on the tailgate). I am also looking into ordering from Putco a set of chrome mirror caps, chrome door handles and tailgate handle. If I could find a set of chrome inside door handles, I'd order those... I will wait to see if GM puts them in any trim level of the '07s, as I may order OE. I have also priced a Leer fiberglass cap and Bed Rug (a really cool bedliner with a soft, yet impervious carpeted surface). I am also searching far and wide for a set of 15" custom rims for it. Yeah, 15s, so I don't have to buy tires. They have proven to be very difficult to find. One other interior thing I'd like to do (if anyone knows a way) is to cover my 4X4 switch bezel and the blank cover next to it in chrome. I think it would set off the center stack nicely and tie in well with the chrome door handles. Let me know if you guys think I'm truck nutz.
  12. I prefer the '66 Impala coupe for its crisper lines. The '67 is too soft for me. I really think the '66 Impala is one of, if not the best looking Impala ever. I also like the '61, '62, '71, '72, '73 and '77-'79. And of course the '94-'96.
  13. Oh God... I just advance ordered Justin Timberlake's new CD off of Amazon. How gay is that?

    20 inches

Has everyone seen the little 20-inch tall, 10 pound Nepalese teenager that's gunning for the world's record for Shortest Boy? He's a funny little tyke, mugging for the camera in the video clips that are on the net. He's going all out to win the title. I think he should win... why? He's got a lot going for him. He'd make a great spy. He'd make a great porn star. He'd make a great karate instructor. He makes me feel tall. Anyway, let's wish him the best for a good life.
  17. Oh. They should have put it above the taillights then.
  18. Now see, that wouldn't have worked for me. If it had been a well-defined ex-Marine with a buzzcut and a goatee, under 5'8", driving the G6, it would have made all the difference...
