  1. You'll have to give up a lot of freedom of mobility to own such a dorkmobile. Why punish yourself?
  2. R-R Ghost is just too sexy, yet old money at the same time.
  3. Be very careful, don't get it in yer eye.
  4. Haha... oh man. Yup, not as a daily, but as a self-contained sleeping and cooking van, it might woik.
  5. Scarlet, aspire to a Prius C if that is your bent. It's small, cheeky, hybrid, inexpensive to buy, and real.
  6. Well, after a good 20 minutes of Facebook stalking, I think Mike seems like a cool cat.
  7. Stupid. No reason for it. At least if it happens and things continue to go well @ work, I'll be driving a company econobox 4 days back and forth, then break out the Jeep the other 3 days... which will prevent me from panicking unnecessarily and trading it for something I really do not want.
  8. I wonder how long the load floor is on the NA version. It might make a handy micro camper van, which would be cool, imo.
  9. It's time to face reality, for Christ's sake.
  10. If that's what being Versa's all about, I'd rather stick to one position, thanks.
  11. Spilt milk. Time to look ahead, not behind.
  12. Yes, I see that both forms of white were available on 99s, I cannot tell by the photos which one this is.
  13. What, you don't cotton to Jism Pearlcoat?
  14. I do not think the general public will notice the repurposing situation. This Acadia looks much nicer than the first-gen.
  15. That's an interesting topic, color trends by region. There's psychology there, I wonder what the root is.
  16. It's all about saving the business customer money. Tires are expensive relative to their size. Little ones are cheap. To me, if I were a small businessman, the looks of my rolling billboard would be important, but then again, would a good looking van make me more money? Or are the most important things low purchase price, low maintenance costs, durability and longevity? This thing will probably run forever, with the body giving way before the mechanicals die, a lot of business people would prolly be interested in such a little beast. The Transit Connect is still made in Turkey, isn't it? I'm all for supporting Ford and the rest of the Home Team, but if Nissan wants to keep Mexicans employed, I support that, too.
  17. heavy tackle
  18. Pleasant vid, except some of the captions are wrong-o, which lessens the enjoyment for me just a little bit.
  19. A lot of people might not see EekAssist as a "competitive advantage" when they consider: A high-end Sonata is rated at 35 MPG without the ridiculous, add-on components of GM's Rube Goldberg invention (if MPG is a primary concern for midsize sedan buyers.) EekAssist takes up precious trunk room in an already relatively small trunk (if trunk room is a primary concern for midsize sedan buyers.) Eek Assist complicates the powertrain system and adds cost up front, and likely after the warranty runs out (if low maintenance costs as part of a decade of ownership are a primary concern for midsize sedan buyers.) I honestly do not believe the system is worth it on a cost/benefit anal ysis basis. The new 2.5 should be rated for 35 MPG, really, where's the huge benefit to this EekAssist thing? Huh?
  20. That was a popular car at the time, and that was "THE" colour to have that year. But even I can say it's only worth about 1/3 of what they're asking.
  21. It makes me dance around the room in birthday clothes holding a phantom microphone reading something like this. *POOF*
  22. That's Mike. (Adam's boyfriend.) ((..obviously)) oh
  23. Who is it?
