  1. The glovebox door: does it operate with the precision of a Swiss watch? If not I refuse to buy one.

  4. And the venerable 4.3L V6 is still the base engine in the GMT900 pickups.
  5. Yeah I'm mostly referring to pedestrian compacts with their plastic wheelcovers removed and the steel wheels beneath shined up.

  8. Well, GM has stated Buick is going up against Toyopet's "Lexus" division, and they have the IS sedan and hardtop convertible... why can't Buick have a RWD/AWD Alpha sedan and hardtop convertible of their own with that 400hp six?
  9. What is so cool about riding around in your base model with no wheel covers? I am still seeing a lot of cars riding on black steelies. What is the purpose of it? Why is it cool? They're keeping those black steelies clean as a whistle, too. I was thinking maybe it is a drag racing thing, where the racing tires are mounted on steelies, so maybe it's supposed to make that Cavalier/Focus/Jetta/Cobalt/ION/xB etc look like a RACE CAR. Can someone enlighten me? And when are the OEMs going to jump on this? Make those plastic wheel covers an option, since so many come off immediately anyway.

    C&G Curse?

Ugh, yeah. About the white marks: clearcoat appears white when it is disturbed. Are you sure it is actually white paint, or is it possibly just clearcoat residue that has accumulated from the scrape?

Are you OK, Rj? Remember, stop, drop and roll.

  17. Balthy, that '58 Impolla with its eyes gouged out gives me the Willys... *shiver* 2011 Terrain in a new color, Blue Gray Metallic. It was an SLE-1 AWD with chrome package, and it looks good in that color. That's one thing with these Thetas, the color choices are all so... conservative.

    Here's one showing them with a cooler car. It's an Onstar commercial... cool, Chevy embedded like Bewitched or The Brady Bunch: <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wezT5rTaCmQ?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wezT5rTaCmQ?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wezT5rTaCmQ?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

  20. First-gen Rambler Marlin, in silver with black in the decklid cove. Restored and looking good. In photos, a beautiful black SKY Redline absolutely totalled, looking similar to Nos' S2000 pics. A friend of mine was riding with his new roomie, and very nearly home, he lost control on a curve and bounced off two trees. My friend says he was not wearing his seatbelt, but the driver was. Miraculously, my friend only suffered cracked ribs and a broken nose. He easily could have been thrown out. I don't know what I would have done if he'd been taken.

  22. Do you see any buckles, misalignments or bodywork on the rails or radiator support?
  23. Pie in the Sky pricing. I was afraid of this.

    Dead Dime.

Jacket, you should start a parcel delivery service and hire a fleet of fat chicks. Call it, uh... it's coming... FatEx.
