  1. CVT is totally inappropriate for a luxury brand.
  2. Let's see if this lure works
  3. First off, straws, whether they be plastic, paper, or dried blood vessels from sheep, are for babies and others with oral fixations. I don't use straws to drink my UNSWEETENED ICED TEA. Sodey pop is bad for you, haven't you seen the scientific data on that? Secondly, who said I don't believe in climate change? Hell, the climate has NEVER BEEN STATIC since Mother Earth formed an atmosphere! It is CHICKEN LITTLES like yourself who are arrogant enough to believe humans can do (or have done) diddly squat to affect climate. You're alright? Please, place your palm on your forehead, cuz you got a fever of some type.
  4. How's that big fat Grand Cherokee running? What a load of BS. But then who here is more known for gobbledygook than our boy olds?
  5. thanks man There is nothing more true than planting a tree to help the world. Save your high talking for someone else.
  6. I just realized the left rear wheel is off this Mopar product.
  7. Nah, I haven't taken it in. Weird that it does not do it each and every first cold 2-3 shift, just a high percentage of the time. I have the 3.6 8A.
  8. olds is asking me to give a solution to a made-up "problem". why do i need to go there. "corporate average fuel economy", does that necessarily equate to air quality, i thought emissions and fuel efficiency were different. linked, but only to a point. why must cars be scapegoated, when there are so many sources of "pollution". i am not going to support EV when the sacrifices far outweigh the benefits. end of story. stop tryna change me and billions of my compatriots. dfelt touts sales percentages of EV over a short period of time... like it's the first time cars have been sold. it is beyond comprehension to me that he forgets the hundreds of millions of internal combustion vehicles that are being driven... daily... and have been for their lifespan to date. and the brand new ones being sought, desired and bought daily. boggling. one could say, troubling for his state of mind if it weren't so entertaining. and yet the dino juice flows through a big ol' hose to his escalade and trailblazer ss. his wife needs to buy a chevy bolt for her daily and keep the trailblazer for the weekend... if the felts truly "cared" about Mother Earth, it would happen. and yet it hasn't. they come in pretty colors. forget about the white dash for one second and do your duty. being called "bucko" is a very serious accusation. one which i do not take lightly. we should all of us, plant a tree. that would help our world more than buying an EV. stop fooling yourselves.
  9. Well, that's a Corona, but yeah...
  10. WATCH OUT, IT'S GOING VIRAL!
  11. Imagine if a straight man was TOLD by his government that he could only be romantically involved with/marry another man. That is about how well it will work, forcing people into EVs.
  12. When my truck is cold, on the first 2-3 shift, it hangs up/goes into neutral for a second then hard shifts into third. Actually throws my head forward then back when it does this.
  13. What should I use to stop it from squeaking? "EFF-DUBBYA-DEE-40"? Asking for a friend.
  14. We just replaced a door on an orange 2015 Trax. Color was easier to match than I feared.
  15. I took her to sit in a Trax, she seemed to like it a little bit. If we go that route, it would need to be a base, FWD version. They come with alloys, but like zero "cool" colors (black, white, gray, silver... no green, no orange.) The MSRP also scares her, but with typical heavy GM discounts, the price would be in line with the foreign jobs. The Spark comes in plenty of "cool" colors, including orange, but she thinks it is too small. A Bolt is completely out of the question, with its high price and no place to charge it. Sonic and Spark are decent, but low-riding. She and her BF both complain about that in the Forte. Equinox is too big and too expensive. She loved her 2012 Soul. The cheapest Soul LX with CVT is over $20k now. There is nothing cheap anymore. Her current lease is not up until December of this year.
  16. A high-riding hatchback. Her choices are Nissan Kicks, Kia Soul and Hyundai Venue. She also wants orange paint if she can get it. That lets Venue and base Kicks out (nice Monarch Orange is only available on higher trim models), but she likes the Apple Green on the Venue. The Honda Fit LX in Orange Fury might work, if she can get in and out OK. Orange Fits are few and far between, and she won't be swayed to the cheaper Honda ($17,790 for LX) unless possibly I can find an orange one nearby. She also likes alloy wheels, which lets the base models of all of the above out. She opened a "car savings account", but I will need to help her again for the third time. It's going to be new, and a lease.
  17. So, the Hyundai Venue, it seems decent for a cheap car laden with features. My mom is driving me nuts trying to help her choose her next car.
  18. Steering wheel leather wrap looks like a do-it-yourself Pep Boys job, it's all wavy and wrinkled at the right side. Not befitting. Car is not too bad looking in Sport guise.
  19. Right. It's in my C&G contract.
  20. They bought out Wiggins Chevy at the corner of Harrisburg Pike and President Ave, which had been there for decades. They built a new place out off Rohrerstown Road and Rt 30. The old Chevy dealer is now a plumbing/heating business in front, and an independent auto service shop in the back. A separate service/parts building down the block has since been torn down to make way for a waste management facility.
