  2. You obviously haven't seen the forums page, and how it is organized into various headers, and under those headers, there are threads, each pertaining to the topic listed in the header. Check it out some time! You'll be surprised. There's even a long-neglected alternative propulsion section here at C&G. Have you seent it? For example, this section of the forums is called "The Lounge". We are in the "Random Thoughts" thread. Be my guest... look up the word "random" in the dictionary. Do you have one?
  3. Drew, a query: why do the C&G forums have various sections dedicated to different topics? It is such a quaint idear to have an organized forum. Chaos reigns! I am SHOCKED dfelt hasn't posted something about EVs droning on in the "What Are You Listening To?" thread. Damn, really?
  4. Like the new Ranger, the Colorado/Canyon were designed to be "high riders". If anyone has noticed, the 2WD versions of these trucks ride as high as the 4WD (non ZR2) versions. Hence no ZQ8 Colorado, the chassis isn't set up for easy lowering.
  5. See how dfelt injects his political views into posts that otherwise are not political? It happens all over the site. He should run for congress. And it is not a "rollback", it is simply a milder increase (thanks Reuters for the slanted article title). And it is rooted in reality based on what type of vehicles people have shown a willingness to spend THEIR OWN money on, as opposed to OTHER PEOPLE'S money.
  6. Here's a pic of Fap on his birthday. Be gentle as he goes into the night.
  7. "Dumper" is a great name for it.
  8. Well it looks like, according to the GMC-provided teaser photo, the Canyon will receive a miniature facelift for the 2021 model year. It also sounds like the 2020 model year will be a short one for Colorado/Canyon, which is what I suspected when I read the order guide on the 2020 models. The Canyon AT4 will be designated a 2021 model.
  9. This Continental was about 65% "try". I do like it but it should have been on a RWD platform from the start, with large displacement EB and Coyote engines. These electric CUV's will also be dismal sellers, so it is not like their fortunes will improve.
  10. Will be inneresting to see if they keep the same off-road equipment and just switch the nameplates from All-Terrain to AT4. If that is the case, it will tell us loud and clear how committed GMC is to the AT4 sub brand. Let's be honest, their commitment to the Denali sub brand has been cynical in some cases.
  11. *rolleyes*
  12. Such a nice boy.
  13. Drop Infiniti. Bring back Datsun. Expansion downmarket is new. It's "in".
  14. Apt descriptor
  15. HOW DID YOU DO THAT!?
  16. Oh man, I remember being threatened with banning for changing something someone said and "quoting" it. I bet you're in real hot water! Oh hi, I'm Emory. So we're Emory and Irony. Wrote a song about it. Wanna hear it?
  17. Dfelt, ever the pessimist.
  18. Sigh... no it doesn't. IT smashes lesser cars "in the face".
  19. Even at 25 mph it's a thrill
