  1. Camino LS6

    New Life

Nice to hear about a new GM location opening up for a change.
  2. That makes sense, I do haunt the backroads.
  3. ...you can't get completely free of wanting at some level. They stick in your mind, and you might be susceptible to a good deal. Some of mine: Corvette (year and trim unknown) 70-73 Camaro (again) A convertible (have yet to ever own one) Avalanche (still love the concept) Solstice coupe 'Cuda '73 Roadrunner '66/'67 GTO (or even a Lemans in that dark teal color) '67-'69 Firebird '70-'73 Firebird '89 Turbo T/A '87 Regal T-Type Turbo E-Type Jag
  4. That surprises me a bit, I would have expected to see more in "rust-free" Arizona than here in humid PA. I don't think a week goes by that I don't see a Chevelle on the road (winter excepted). And I see Corvairs every two months or so.
  5. I couldn't disagree more. Not only are they not forgotten, I see both with regularity.
  6. One more before I head-off to the Healey garage. The original Dodge Magnum (coupe).
  7. The Monza clones: Skyhawk Sunbird Firenza
  8. I thought about the Cougar, but people seem to remember them. Sort of on a par with Ranchero, I'd say. Good list!
  9. Dodge Mirada
  10. Good call on the Elite! Non-Nova X-bodies too. The Ranchero almost qualifies.
  11. I'm thnking of cars that were once ubiquitous on American roads but now are little remembered, let alone seen. Think of this as an older car version of the "cars that have gone missing thread". The cars that have gone missing long enough to be generally forgotten. Chevy Monza Ford Torino Ford LTD VW Thing Have at it!
  12. I wondered what the stench was. I hope to be long dead before this ever happens, but I may not get my wish.
  13. It's out of character for me, but I still want a Solstice GXP Coupe.
  14. No chance, unforetunately, he was going the other way. I did think of you though, Roger. Maybe I'll see it again.
  15. No such luck.
  16. That would be interesting, but no, the Healeys don't belong to me. I'd probably just cruise down in the wagon.
  17. Hmm, vintage funny cars, fireworks, and Yuengling! I think I'm in! http://www.maplegroveraceway.com/blog/?page_id=2611
  18. Maybe I'll give myself a birthday present and hit Maple Grove in the beginning of July.
  19. Or a day trip here: http://www.maplegroveraceway.com/blog/
  20. There aren't any real close. Oh yeah! I'd even settle for a good whiff of race gas.
  21. I suppose that's true. I just need a dose of large engines at redline, spewing fire.
  22. I suppose I could strip, head out to the barn, and commune with the Mothertruck. But I don't see that being of much benefit.
