  1. Lots more like that around here...
  2. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/1832352361.html Or: http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/ctd/1830880441.html
  3. Point(s) taken. Argue the price though.
  4. I won't be happy until we get some real rain.
  5. No, but I'll try to avoid calling it a British POS. Right now it has carb issues, so that will be job one.
  6. Congratulations!
  7. Nope, inline six. But it is British, so swear words are part of the deal.
  8. Yeah, well...
  9. I do have to agree with DF.
  10. Why not? You do need a namesake vehicle. But, there is the Avalanche idea...
  11. ...with a Jaguar E-type. The E-type that has been hanging around the "car barn" with the Healeys is bound for driver duty, so I guess I'll be getting to know all of its deepest secrets going forward.
  12. ...and 50 years later we can still get parts. BTW: there is a new Healey project brewing.
  13. Very bad news, but someone will pick up the slack. If that weren't true, we'd never be able to keep the Healeys going.
  14. Man, I hope that's true. Globalisation just plain sucks.
  15. Almost without exception, each new generation of Corvette has moved the ball forward in significant fashion, I have no worries about the next one doing the same. The recipe is perfect.
  16. "Down" into the nineties today w/some cloud cover - marginally better. Still no rain yet.
  17. Aren't we really picking nits here? The Corvette has to be the most well-defined GM product available (with the possible exception of the Silverado). No major change in recipe will be beneficial.
  18. I hope it is heading our way, we really need it. So you're the culprit!
  19. Just saw a very clean 05/06 GTO in Spice Red.
  20. It is. We are usually wet and green here most of the time. Now it's all dry and dusty - reminds me of northern California. Very disturbing. EDIT: Our August weather started in the beginning of June this year.
  21. Humidity has been increasing, but the heat has been the real story. About half of June was above 90, and all of July so far has been even hotter. No storms to speak of since the big destructive one. The ground is bone dry and cracked, and plants are wilting and dropping leaves after going into premature fall color. All very scary for this part of PA.
  22. It's been over 100 for several days now, please take your weather home Cubitar! Seriously though, this is so wrong for PA. Everything is turning brown and shrivelling-up, including the weeds. The lack of rain is even more troubling than the awful heat.
  23. Should be the name of a horror film based on this summer's weather.
  24. Too bad it's a 4-door.
  25. Happy belated.
