  1. As soon as I get a ride to go pick it up, I'll take some pics.
  2. I still want the dually, but the seller hasn't responded to e-mail or voicemail yet.
  3. Bought a ROPOS this morning for a grand. Not what I wanted to do, but it runs, the plow works, and the tires are good. It will do until something better comes along. I'm not even sure that getting it inspected will be much of an option, but the driveway will get plowed. I will pick it up later today.
  4. Yeah, it's a known problem. BTW: this car is a restored street car, not one of the race cars. I'll get you some pics soon.
  5. I'm calling him in the morning.
  6. That dually is sweet!
  7. That International panel is interesting...
  8. Yeah, imagine that! Funny thing is, the problem part is an electrical part. But get this, it isn't a Lucas original - it's an aftermarket knock-off. Defective right out of the box. It's the pressure switch that actuates the brake lights.
  9. No, it was one more local to me. I have a few others to see tomorrow, one that I just now found. Waiting on a return call or e-mail.
  10. No go on the Healey today - a defective part is holding up progress until Monday. Forgot to take my camera too, sorry Stang.
  11. Looked at a very disappointing truck today - the hunt goes on.
  12. The wind is evil here.
  13. Thanks BP, I may just do that. I'll let you know via PM. Still debating about the low-buck option with myself.
  14. Can't say for sure, since I haven't had him on a dyno, but it would be one wild ride.
  15. If I did that, I'd have to stockpile a ton of doggy downers for Arkus!
  16. I'm much more familiar with vintage racing. And... the whole WoO thing doesn't do it for me. Still, a very interesting sort of job.
  17. Maybe I can snag a pic or two for you. It's a sweetie.
  18. Anyone near Florence MA who would be willing to go take a look?
  19. Must get plow quick!
  20. That truck is perfect!
  21. If I'm reading that correctly, that means the Jag rides on an older version of the platform than the Mustang.
  22. It had a bad O ring in one carb (had to remove the carb to fix it - bit of a PITA). Runs great now, and no more puddles of fuel under it. BTW Stang, it is an earlier car than I remembered ('69 Series II). On to the Healy 3000 now...
  23. Good point. I talked to the guy today, plan to look at it soon.
  24. Interesting...
