  1. I miss my Duramax.
  2. Haven't had time to look yet, but the tires are not so great so it wouldn't matter much. I suppose I could get by if I put some weight in the back, but I'll just use the Ropos for now. I was a bit disappointed, but it will be dealt with soon.
  3. Love it!
  4. Well, today it wants to be RWD-only for some reason - the 4 wheel drive doesn't want to engage. It worked when I checked it out before buying it! Oh well, I figure that out later after the storm.
  5. I'm jealous.
  6. Considering that reverse barely works, I have no plow lights, and there are no coner markers on the plow, Things have gone ok so far. Took an illegal run over to my family's neighborhood to get the first layer off, and I've done this place several times. At the moment we have fairly heavy snow coming down and it is blowing and drifting. Have probably had between 6-8" so far (hard to tell with all of the blowing. Fun,fun, fun. I have a few more hours until the ROPOS turns into a pumpkin due to the lack of plow lights. I'll wait a bit, take care of the dogs, make a Wawa run, and then plow until dark. The morning could be a real challenge, since I can't attack the snow after we lose the sun.
  7. Thanks guys, I like it. It needs some TLC, but I'll be getting right on that after this monster storm goes by. I'll be using the 4x4 capability of this and the ROPOS today.
  8. The T-bird is a '60, and the plates are Classic (the color didn't show up in the pic).
  9. Trial by fire for the ROPOS. Not what I was hoping for...
  10. Yeah, I'm pretty happy with both.
  11. No rust, minor issues. The upcoming snow has delayed getting them dealt with - had more drama with the plowbeast today...
  12. Here's the first pic of the Tahoe, more when the chaos settles down.
  13. The Atomic Tadpole! God, but I hate this thing!
  14. Yes. The Koreans and the domestics are both chewing into Japan's marketshare. I love it!
  15. Finished my emergency repair on the ROPOS a little while ago. Meanwhile the Tahoe is being checked out for inspection at the Chevy shop. I expect to be doing rotors and calipers on it. I'll be doing the work once I have the list. I took a pic today, but left my camera at the race car shop (got some Healey pics). Should be able to give you guys a look sometime tomorrow.
  16. Things didn't go exactly as planned. I took the ROPOS to pick-up a few things at Pep Boys for the Tahoe because I didn't want to carry the kero inside the Tahoe. So I make my rounds and head toward the station that has the Kero, just then the serpentine belt on the ROPOS lets go - so I skip the kero and go home. I do a few things on the Tahoe and back it out of the barn. I go to pull the ROPOS into the barn and the shredded belt takes out the high pressure power steering hose! What a mess. Made another run to "the Boys" and picked-up a new hose and PS fluid. I'm done for tonight. Seems my black cloud hasn't quite left me yet.
  17. Pics will have to wait - I need to replace my rechargeable batteries. Now I have to run out and get some kerosene so it isn't too cold to get some work done on this thing tonight. Shooting for inspection tomorrow.
  18. Thanks guys, I'll try to get pics today or tomorrow. WK: I have leads on Mothertruck and the wagon, but no results yet.
  19. I think I was overdue. It isn't perfect, but I'm very pleased.
  20. Both wrong! It's a 2-door Tahoe.
  21. Pics to follow soon.
  22. Camino is now happy.
