  1. I didn't know he had a Chevy store. Ever meet the guy? He's sort of the definition of short and round.
  2. You should be fine. Ice sucks no matter the drive wheels or type of tire, but a good set of snow tires will help. As for studs, I've never used them.
  3. Those 4.3s are the only factory injected Caminos/Caballeros ever built. I've never driven one, but I expect that they might be quicker than the carbed 305s.
  4. I'm more convinced than ever I belong up there...
  5. You seem to have a number of my favorite 2-door SUVs as well!
  6. Browsing craigslist leads me to believe you guys are hogging all the plow trucks! Let me know if you find a really good one.
  7. Awesome end to a very cool saga!
  8. I would love to see the Moodies again!
  9. HBD, BV!
  10. So you guys like my little trick! cool.
  11. Thanks for the leads, guys. The one I was waiting to hear about turned out to be a scam. That stake body would be tempting were it closer. The hunt goes on.
  12. I've found some interesting stuff that way...
  13. Tell your friend to go on the local craigslist under "cars and trucks" and do a search using "grandfather" or "grandmother" as the search term. No joke. I guarantee a clean, low-mile Buick or two will show-up in the results. Yes, I actually do this...
  14. Yeah, what an ordeal. I'm just waiting on that return e-mail or phone call...
  15. Don't be too jealous, it's a late car ('74, I think), and in driver condition. Not the best color either, but still cool.
  16. It's VERY local...
  17. I may have found something even better (if it's for real, that is).
  18. Tomorrow I'll be messing with an E-Type...
  19. With all of this deliberation, she should just order one. You know, it would be her Camaro especially built for her by Chevrolet.
  20. It might, but I'm trying to move on. Put it this way, if it makes sense I'll do it.
  21. Way too expensive for what it is, but this would make a great little plow beast. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/1497952795.html
  22. Thanks for the good wishes Ocn, but I quit doing it commercially. I'm just doing the plowing that I'm obligated to do at this point. I may freelance a bit this winter if I get a chance, but I'm all done with doing a regular plow route. I'll be spending quality time with the race cars again until Spring.
  23. Because the Mothertruck is way too long for the areas I have to plow - wouldn't work. And, because it would take too long to get ready.
  24. Perfectly logical, but I have other tasks for a pickup that would be beyond the Dakota. If I were to keep the Mothertruck, all sorts of options for the plow vehicle would be workable. I'd prefer to get into a nice 3/4 ton and send the Mothertruck on its merry way. Also, whatever I get will have to do daily driver duties for a while as well.
