  1. This is it. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/1475810640.html
  2. I'm leaning toward the el cheapo '87 3/4 with the western plow. It needs a master cylinder and inspection, but it would do the job for $1,800. If I do that, I can then take my time finding something else.
  3. For once, Croc and I agree 100%. Callling Zeta "lesser" because it is used for the Camaro is one of the most absurd statements I've ever read around here.
  4. The snow would laugh at that thing, Reg. The truth is, it really takes a fullsize truck to do the job. A half ton can do it, but a 3/4 ton is so much better.
  5. That's one fine-looking rear wheel driveway!
  6. That Blazer I considered for about 30 seconds or so. The T/A listing has been flagged, so I can't comment on that one.
  7. That Blazer would be a great project - but a project isn't what I need at the moment.
  8. Glad to hear that it did well. Once you get the snows on the rear, it will be much better.
  9. lol We shall see...
  10. Thanks for the lead,Z. But I'm not quite ready to give up on getting a GM truck. Even an ancient POS, since they are familiar turf for me. In fact, I may call about that well-worn '87 3/4 ton I posted in the other thread. Finding just the right truck isn't likley to happen as quickly as I need it to. And everything sort of pales in comparison to the one that I lost by minutes on Friday. Who knows? Maybe I'll feel differently in the morning, but that's where my head is right now.
  11. I'll have to buy something very soon. I may just go for the cheapest POS truck I can find, and sort the rest out later.
  12. That would be hilarious.
  13. No Asian makes, at all, ever. Yeah, I know you guys are kidding - but I have to make sure no one misunderstands.

    Hmmm

Yeah, I know. I did a nationwide search and many of these are at (or above) 200k. With a median value of $6k. So this one is a good deal, relatively speaking. I guess I'll have to get over my allergy to cars with over 100k.
  15. Go wash your mouse out with soap, DF. You know I'd walk first.
  16. I just showed the wagon to a local guy who seems very interested. That would be the last of my vehicles that is currently roadworthy. I need to find something fast.
  17. Well worth the effort.
  18. Key. Fishtailing is a good teacher too, learn to handle that and you'll wonder what all the fuss is about. Besides, it can be lots of fun.

    Hmmm

...and 130k is what passes for "low miles" on these.

  21. It's a jones that never leaves me...
  22. It looks brighter to me than the stock dark green GM used on the Tahoes. Must be aftermarket.
