I don't think, the exteriors and interiors are not bad, but nothing special either. Remember this will be on sale for 8 years probably, if we aren't really impressed now, imagine how dated this package will look in 2020. The engines will be lame, just wait and see. We already know the LT1 has about 5% more hp and torque than the outgoing LS3. Even a 50% gain in horsepower to the 4.3 liter leaves them behind Ford and Ram. You are the king of assumptions! The facts on the engines are not yet available.

A bit premature with all of that SMK, don't you think?

I just wish that all of the automakers would stop applying the word "coupe" to cars that clearly are no such thing. It's an instant turn-off.

Like this idea!

Natural gas in PA

What we have now is companies resisting all regulation and disclosure and the opposition creating falsehoods and fear of what might happen. That's no way to leverage a resource. -

The knee-jerk opposition is just as guilty if not more. It's high time to start dealing with facts instead of hyperbole. -

I wish both sides of this would quit playing politics, it is far too important that we do this (and do it well) to be wasting time with BS propaganda. -
I also like the overall looks of the Ram. I've had various models turn my head over the last few years, with styling, great sounding engines, and nice little details like the cutouts in the rear bumper for factory dual exhausts. I'd certainly check out a Ram before buying a new full-size truck.

Even in monotone it looks a bit busy to me. To be fair, I'd need a fairly long test drive to determine which interior was better. But at first blush, I don't care for either one. And I sure hope that both are available without a touch screen in the dash - I find screens of any kind a real distraction/irritation when driving. Really, really dislike them.

The problems at those two wells are precisely what should be under scrutiny - I have no issue with folks holding the company's feet to the fire on that point. As for the film, I don't think they ever tried to hide the financing. I don't think that the industry had any choice but to respond the the fraud of "Gasland". Fox's film was as fake as that smear job done on GM with the gas tanks. -
Well I'm going with overall, not just the interior. I love the Hemi, Ram hasn't officially announced the 8-speed with the Hemi the Ram people tell me with a wink and a nudge. The Ram is easily the best riding truck out there, better than the Avalanche even. It's got the Avalanche rip-off Ram box. It's looks bad-ass from the outside.... the only thing tipping me towards Avalanche over Ram is length. I can only fit so much truck in my driveway and the Avalanche gives me the 8-foot better without the awkward turn around in the driveway. My mistake, I thought we were just talking interior. As for the rest, I would certainly take a good look at a Ram if I were in the market today. Chevy is no longer my automatic "go to" for trucks. And this new one hasn't changed that.

To each his own. I find the Ram interior to be way too busy with too many different materials, shapes, and colors.

The companies try to refuse and thwart oversight at every turn. And that should be the target that the protesters go after, not the technology itself. And resorting to outright falsehoods in an attempt to ban fracking altogether is just shameful. -
Can't say that I really like any of the above interiors very much.

I do. Being scared is useless and leads to knee-jerk judgments when what is needed is sober and logical oversight. -
I hope that the HDs are more impressive.

I was hoping for a GMT400 level of advancement - this isn't it. For two generations in a row now, I've been left liking the 400 better.

I'm not wowed.

That's no surprise, just a typical over-reaction by government.- 25 replies

It won't just be the government either. Just wait until your insurance company gets access. Or the finance company that issued your loan... Or your employer...- 25 replies

Irresponsible and dangerous according to whom? I'm sorry, but I just don't see being a compliant drone as a good thing.- 25 replies

Doesn't matter. Mandating this for every car is simply invasive and wrong - and it will be used against owners, and the use will be broadened in the coming years.- 25 replies
