  1. Another rare point of agreement between us. :AH-HA_wink:
  2. Nah.
  3. Just remember to make that left onto 252, don't let your appetite play Nav system.
  4. GME?
  5. Stingray
  6. Three guesses
  7. Thanks. It's monthly (the 4th Saturday of each month beginning about 4PM). You can get off 202 at the Chesterbrook exit (Swedesford rd), then go to 252 and make a left. At the second light, make a left onto Chesterbrook boulevard. You will see a shopping center on your right. Use the second entrance and you are there.
  8. Yeah, tick-tock for all of GM.
  9. Exactly what I was thinking when I first saw it.
  10. This thread: http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...showtopic=22901 Is a really long read, but I think it says it all about this topic.
  11. Hmm, quips but no refutation?
  12. Again, it really was my pleasure. But I'm glad you all enjoyed the pics.
  13. Exactly my point. It almost seems that management also did its best to hide the fact that the Solstice ZoK package was available.
  14. Good memory. I do like the Magnum though.
  15. NASCAR itself gasped its last on that day. What is left is a travesty.
  16. I would have never sent a Lambda to GMC in the first place. Let's hope that this indicates a logical cutting of models rather than a sign of a brand elimination.
  17. One could make the case that through legislative malpractise, the government "owes" GM and Ford "damages". :AH-HA_wink:
  18. The owner of that Impala would have a coronary if he read your post! Did you see the GP? It appeared to be a really nice survivor car in very good condition.
  19. Yes, GM marketing stinks generally. Yes, Saab is worse than Saturn. Saturn hasn't got the dealer network to replace any old line brand, but is large enough to net a savings if killed - Saab not so much. Still, don't you find it a bit terrifying that GME, in its dubious wisdom, wants to use both Saturn and Saab as a template for GMNA? And at the expense of Pontiac and/or Buick and/or GMC? Deeply flawed logic there.
  20. Given the current situation, I thought that it was worth the effort to read through this excellent thread once again. This is the best "brand Killing" debate we've ever had here IMO.
  21. That's an awfully big hill of debt for Saturn to climb, Mr. B, Saturn has cost GM literally billions so far. It also is falling on its face saleswise at the moment for a variety of reasons. I see no promise there.
  22. Here's another gripe with Pontiac's management: I have repeatedly signed up for "e-mail updates" from Pontiac starting with the intro of the GTO, only to receive no responses. That's weak.
  23. The '71 was the only M/C there this time, except for the wheels and hood it looked bone stock. But, when it fired up that all changed. This thing could send Harleys running for cover (yes, that loud). I didn't talk to the owner. Chesterbrook is actually West of Philly, and adjacent to Valley Forge park. The actual address there is Wayne, PA. but it is actually closer to Berwyn than Wayne proper.
  24. From what I understand, Mass is also brutal on this front.
  25. Speaking of Saturn, another aspect that ticks me off is the Sky. Don't get me wrong, I really like the car itself, but it should never have been given to Saturn at the expense of the Solstice's exclusivity. If anything, the Sky should have been a Solstice MCE.
