  1. Wow! This last page of posts did my heart good! Been a crappy day, so it was really nice to hear the good news that the LeSabre is safely in its new home. All the pics are great (I think another set may be on the way :AH-HA_wink: ) and that everyone made it home in one piece. Glad you enjoyed the ride home,GMTG. But how could you not in that amazing little roadster? I'm even more glad that all of my "tweaking" held up on the LeSabre's long flight, Mr. Fly! Its nice to grin at the end of a rough day.
  2. Shhhh! I was trying really hard to like it (and convince myself that it could be RWD). :AH-HA_wink: I do love the rear quarter with its flared wheelwell and well-fitted rolling stock. The rest is an almost for me (stylingwise). Tweak the front and rear, make it RWD, give it a potent powerplant, and I would drive it. As an Epsilon, no.
  3. Interior looks a bit like my GTO (a good thing) Overhead view: best angle yet.
  4. It really depends on the drivetrain - but there is a bit to like about it.
  5. That could be a good feature if done right. I rarely need the rear seats in the GTO.
  6. Thought of one more. Chevy is now : 6.5
  7. I completely forgot Saab. Saab: 0 I left the GTO off the list since its out of production. With GTO Pontiac:3
  8. What's the story on the seats? It looked like an interesting system in the first video.
  9. Crap! In that case I missed it all- no sound.
  10. I really have to fix the sound on my computer. Was that presentation in English or German?
  11. I like it a bit less after the second video. Not bad in profile, but front and rear need tweaking.
  12. I like the look. Hardware? Still pics?
  13. The funny thing is, if I moved to Europe, I probably would buy a GT.
  14. About what I thought, I was hoping that I missed something along the way. I do like the GT just fine, but it's more Pontiac than Opel.
  15. While I prefer RWD V8s, other powerplants can have their appeal in the right package. What I'm asking is does Opel have anything in the way of product that might make the cut? I bought a Maserati Biturbo afterall.
  16. Saturn: 1 Buick: 0 Pontiac: 3 GMC: 1 Hummer: 0 Cadillac: 2.5 Chevrolet: 8.5 Edit: now revised
  17. A valid point, but not exactly what I meant.
  18. You haven't answered my question yet. And I own a GM diesel now.
  19. How many model/nameplates in each GM division appeal to you? I don't mean that you think a given model is a good choice in class, makes sense for you, is financially sensible. I mean which do you look at and say "I'd like to have one of those". How many from each GM division make the cut for you?
  20. Great take on this.
  21. 50 Years of Toyota: A biography of infection.
  22. I'm not so sure. Don't get me wrong here, I love the Solstice. But something tells me that its soft curves are becoming dated. At any rate, I'm thinking that Pontiac doesn't really have much of a current design language to begin with. Other than the split grilles, the current crop vary wildly in style. The G8 isn't perfect, but it is an attractive, muscular, and yes aggressive design. I'm fine with it as a Pontiac, although I'd like to do an edit or two on the design.
  23. I don't mean in the "is it good for GM" sense, I mean why should I care. What can Opel offer that would appeal to me? Not too much, I suspect.
  24. Hmm, I think I could handle it. :AH-HA_wink: I definitely want to give it a try!
