  1. Well then........ Volvo P1800 coupe (April 13, 2012) she needs some lovin,' but she's still a looker. same for the Olds behind it.
  2. people have been going nuts over it. they're jeering it because the RT is $22 large. but look at what you get for that price; it's certainly worth the admission. But $15K (ok, almost 17) in the door is still a prety good deal, especially when compared to the competition. This is a very competitive segment. I want to wait to see what the auto rags and shoppers are saying about this car when it comes out.
  3. alright Cort! way to go.
  4. I prefer the coupes but any P1800 is gorgeous in my opinion.
  5. how old? are we talking A-Team old? (even though that was a GMC)
  6. yes. no more SS. No more big blocks. strangling emissions equipment. lowered compression. ugly styling. huge, heavy, ugly bumpers (because putting battering rams on either end of the car makes them soooo much safer). but things had been slipping for a while. they didn;t get their grove back arguably until the IROC-Z showed up.
  7. I have to wholeheartedly agree with Horse on the second-generation Camaros, namely the earlier ones. Those on here who've known me back in the day know that they're still my favorite Camaro. Especially the Baldwin Motion versions: I mean just look at them. Sexy.
  8. EXACTLY. I don't see any Ferrari or Alfa or Maserati in it anywhere. I look at it and I see more of the original GTS coupe than anything else:
  9. I was impressed with it until I saw the front end. It looks like an Accord. There. I said it. I regret nothing.
  10. I think it's wonderful. not a thing on it i would change. I'm amazed they brought back the front-hinged clamshell hood, too. Overall, I must say I'm impressed.
  11. Stainless Steel. so a little dishwasher soap and it'll be good? lol
  12. Saw a DeLorean in person for the first time in my life today; they really are just bare metal. I at least thought it would have been treated somehow. must be a pain in the ass to clean.
  13. I thought the Aveo RS concept was nice, and when the Sonic came out, i thought it looked cheap. I have to say though now it's growing on me. and the shape of the hatch is challenging my conventional rhetoric that Coupe > Sedan > Hatch. GMTG's right, the hatch makes the sedan look kinda frumpy. and forgive the dislexyia, but I keep reading this as a "A Tale of Two Scions."
  14. that sketch looks like a fish. sounds exciting, but they haven't even really got the Karma all the way off the ground yet.
  15. Not to mention, Lakers/Clippers (the latter of which is surprisingly starting to get good now, SHOCK!) Ducks/Kings Rams/Raiders (back in the day) SF 49-ers/GB Packers Dallas Cowboys/Washington Redskins I'm sure Patriots/Colts is shaping up into a good rivalry as of late.
  16. Boston Red Sox/NY Yankees is probably the biggest (and oldest!) rivalry in baseball. Also Angels/Dodgers is a good crosstown rivalry around here. Still waiting for that Freeway Series Fall Classic. ...but alas, the Dodgers suck.
  17. No, seriously play around a little more with the F-stop/aperture setting and find a good balance of clarity, brightness and contrast. It takes a little experimentation. also at night the shutter speed can slow down a wee bit. if it's a cellphone camera though, i dunno.
  18. Photoshop. /trollololololol ---
  19. Are you surprised it's been forever since you've seen one? It's hard to keep your doors open when your customer base is dying. That said, one still operates in Corbin, KY about 40 miles south of me. It's also worth mentioning the Shoney's in Richmond, KY was re-purposed into a Hooters a few years ago after it shut down. not so much that I haven't seen one, but the last time I saw one was during the Clinton Administration--pre impeachment, even--and I forgot they even existed.
  20. d00d.
  21. I have a sneaky suspicion that it will look quite a bit duller than this rendering. and Shoney's? holy crap, i haven't seen one of those in ages.
  22. looks the goods, and I know the V6 isn't exactly a bad choice, but the powermonger in me would prefer this package with a Hemi underhood. I am however anxious to see how well the suspension package sharpens the Challenger's blades.
  23. well it's good to see that some people still have their eyes intact after seeing that orange Ford. I wonder if anyone's tried to land a plane on it. have to say i never thought of holding sunglasses in front of the camera lense though. were they just polarized? I can't imagine the lenses were super dark.
