C&G Fifth Anniversary!
Haha, I remember the CTSi with "a 321HP turbo V6" and we got a 400HP V8 Oh, what good times we've had...

Dodge Challenger SS Concept
Just to get an idea of the size of the Challenger: The Magnum looks rather small in comparison, no?

Saturn Sky by Gravana
Ok, ok, EXCEPT for those things that have to do with performance. And those stickers on the side, well, they don't add any power, and actually add a bit of weight, so they don't add to performance

Car & Driver Previews '08 Toyota Tundra
The 5.7 has 380HP, Olds. But that won't make up many sales.

Car & Driver Previews '08 Toyota Tundra
The white one is terribly ugly. And the silver one isn't much better. I'm guessing about 25% of them will be the base model (white one) and then about 45% will be the middle model (silver one) with about 10% or maybe slightly less being the top model that we've seen so much.

The front end is kinda cool but the rest of the modifications are a major "meh."

2007 Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra
Yeah, in the top model. I believe the other models are either a 4L V6 or 4.7L V8 mated to a 5-speed. How many of the top models are going to be sold? The majority of sales will be the 4.7. Also, the Sierra Denali will have the 6.2 and 6-speed for anyone who wants the best truck on the market. That said, yes, the 4-speed needs to go, but I don't see it killing the truck in any way. Most truck buyers could care less if their truck has 6-speeds or 4-speeds (and even less about 5 vs. 4). All they care about is how it performs doing what they need it to do.

Full Test: 2007 Dodge Nitro
I've warmed up to most of the exterior except for the front end, which I can't decide if I like i or not. The interior is very mediocre and from what I've read the materials are cheap. Oh, and about the LX cars - without the Hemi, I predict they would have flopped. 1/2 of the sales are Hemis, and we know very few of them would have gone to fleet, and 1/4 of sales are to fleets, so that means only about 1/4 of sales are retail V6 sales, or no more than 3000 per month. Is that really that much of a success? Those numbers tell me the only real reason it sold was because of the Hemi, not because of the interior. Now, maybe some people still would have bought them if they didn't have to Hemi, but I think a lot of sales would have been lost.

Dodge Challenger SS Concept
It looks HUGE without the huge wheels of the concept that made it look halfway-reasonably sized. It looks rather boring with just one line running down the side and the front is pretty average without those cool headlights.
-
GM Advanced Design's Turbine EcoJet
It looks, umm, interesting. I can't say I really like it. Edit: I just noticed that the front end looks like it would make a good snowplow.

SEMA Sebring (more pics)
Some of the interior still looks cheap but it looks much better in that color combo!

Ideas for Quick Cash?
Do you really need a car? I don't have a car on campus and I'm sure UI's is probably at least 5x as big as Kettering's. Or are you saying if you get a co-op you'll need a car? I say first you should see if you end up needing a car, then if you do buy something real cheap and don't worry about how fast/cool it is. Who cares if you have a "pocket rocket" if you're going to be driving in the snow and bad weather all the time?

Ideas for Quick Cash?
You could see if you could get a job at the cafeteria or something part-time. I know someone who did that. What car is this you're going to buy?

Pricing: 2007 Nissan Altima
Seems like pretty competitive pricing to me.

Lucerne CXL V6 vs. AURA XR
I would take the Aura simply because it'd be sportier and more fun to drive. Oh, and the 3.6L and 6-speed combo wins hands down against the 3.8 and 4-speed. It's also less expensive. I remember doing that test track a couple years ago, it was pretty cool! Did you notice on the out side portion of the track if they still had vehicles sitting down on the ground? They had quite a few sitting outside below the track when I was there, making me think that they use them to alternate what vehicles were in the showroom?

Preview: Dodge Challenger Super Stock
The front end is rather boring and a bit ugly without those cool headlights from the concept and those dumb fog lights that stick out.
-
SEMA 2006: Chevrolet Colorado Z-71 Plus
I see the possibility of the Chevy Lambda having a similar front end to that.
-
SEMA 2006: Chevrolet Silverado Rally Sport
If they even give it the 6.2L with the 4-speed, that's rediculous. The 4-speeds need to be gone.

Super Corvette Report
I think the LS7's cylinder walls are too thin for supercharging, or at least not without some significant modification. The 572 is way too big; it weighs a lot I'm guessing and I am pretty sure it would require them to modify the hood.

NA 3.8 Series II vs. SC 3.8 Series II
The L67 doesn't only fit in Grand Prix's... it's been in the Regal, Impala, and Monte Carlo. And to answer your question I don't really know, but it shouldn't involve much modification.

Life Liberty & The Pursuit - since 1902
No, that's when it got the Northstar. The Allante came out in '86 I believe. I think 92-93 were the last years for the Allante, if not then '94 definetly was.

Revealed: BMW 3-Series Convertible
I like the current one better. A lot better.

Life Liberty & The Pursuit - since 1902
They are similar to the Silverado commercials, except that they only have cars, and not other things. I don't think the 85 Seville belongs anywhere in the ad. Every other car looks pretty nice, and then you have the ugly 85 Seville? At least the 60 second ad goes to the Allante between the two.

Edmunds starts SRX long-term test
Not from a stop to 60mph. You get better traction with AWD, which is key when you're starting from a stop. From a roll from say 20-60, yes, the RWD will be faster, but the AWD will be faster from a stop.

Tigers made the playoffs! Yes!
The Cardinals did not win the World Series, the Tigers gave them the title.
