About to purchase a new car, help please :)
David - what discount did the dealer give you (besides incentives, trade, and GM Card credits)? empowah - I think $23600 is right for what he got, I configured an LT with ABS on GMbuypower and I think that's what the price was going to be after destination charge.

Finally! Build your Enclave on buick.com
All of the Lambdas have boring colors. I drove by the Saturn dealer yesterday, and they had a row of Outlooks that were all either blue, black, or cocoa, and they all looked more or less the same. I was rather disappointed. On the other hand, the red one that they had sitting by itself looked great. I would definitely go with red or dark blue on the Outlook and red, dark blue, or moonstone on the Acadia.

REAL LIFE ENCLAVE PICS
reg, you need to have your eyes checked. First you say the A5 looks like a Sebring and then say the Enclave looks nothing like the Santa Fe.

The Lucky Spotter's Thread
I saw a orange GTO yesterday and a cyclone gray one today. Also, a brand new extended cab Sierra SLT in red. Looked sweet!

Velite/Riviera update
That car they are talking about is the NG Lucerne.

V12 Coming..... Lutz says so....
Yes. An STS-like car is not necessarily dead, as that is what it sounds like the NG DTS may be, but it appears that the STS name may be dead (either "DTS" or "STS" is dead, however the car replacing both seems more like the current STS than current DTS seeing as how it is Zeta based and will likely have something bigger than it above it, meaning it won't be as big as the current DTS, most likely). This is an interesting thought. It is quite possible that the V12 could be two 3.2s paired together to make a 6.4L.

GM Announces Seven World Intros for New York
2 and 4-7 seem possible, but the Enclave has already debuted and the Blue Devil almost certainly will debut at NAIAS. Plus, it's over a year away still. I'm guessing the concept is the H4, and I suppose the production model could be the "production" G8 as opposed to the "concept" at Chicago. Or, maybe a hybrid of some sort (Malibu, T900 trucks).

REAL LIFE ENCLAVE PICS
I'm beginning to like the Enclave less and less. It looks really awkward to me in these pics. And yes, it looks almost exactly like the Santa Fe in the rear.

Velite/Riviera update
I really don't see this happening until at least 2013. Buick could use other models first such as a smaller-than-Enclave X-over.

V12 Coming..... Lutz says so....
I'm sure it can be converted. They aren't just going to let LGR die when it is one of, if not their most advanced plant.

GM Announces Seven World Intros for New York
We've already seen those, though. "Seven World Intros" implies they haven't been seen anywhere in the world before.

About to purchase a new car, help please :)
I would hope the dealer would be upfront about whether or not there is a conquest incentive as they aren't losing any money by giving it to you. I don't know of a site that lists them though.

V12 Coming..... Lutz says so....
If the DTS is on Zeta and the ULS is on Sigma, which was the plan at one point (I don't know about now), then the ULS won't be a streched DTS.

Saturn releases Aura Green Line Pricing
The posts I read on Edmunds claimed 29.5-30MPG.

V12 Coming..... Lutz says so....
I think it's quite possible that after the new CTS is done it will move to Zeta. Or, the ULS could go on Sigma, which was the plan before approval, but I don't know if it was altered when approved or not.

About to purchase a new car, help please :)
Both of those models are going out of production. I guess they would be ok, but I think you can find some better options. If you would like a coupe, did you check out the G6 coupe? A base G6 GT coupe after incentives and before any additional discount from the dealer is $20730. You should be able to get it down to under $20k before GM card credits and I would think resale would be much better than the Monte Carlo and I would think it would ride/handle better as well. If you want a crossover type vehicle the Equinox or Torrent would be a better choice than the Rendezvous I think. You would probably want the preferred package, so your probably looking at something around $22.5k before GM card credits. I think there are probably better, newer options than the MC and Rendezvous, but if that's what you like, then go for it. I'm just offering some suggestions.

V12 Coming..... Lutz says so....
STS is dead, DTS will likely slot in above the CTS with the ULS above the DTS (I suppose the DTS could be dead and they could use the STS name). I could see the Alpha Cadillac slot below the CTS too, in the $29-40k range with CTS in the $35-45k range, DTS/STS $45-65k and ULS $70k-100k.

V12 Coming..... Lutz says so....
So they approved it. Too bad it won't be here until late 2010 at the earliest. The engine sounds ok, I guess. Not very unique really, but if they can make it world-class then I have no problem with it just being two HF V6s joined together. Perhaps the UV8 is a HF V8?

The Z06 is awesome, especially in black.

G37 Coupe Revealed
GM does. There aren't many left, but the left-over '06 GTOs can be had for under $30k with 400HP.

2008 Chrysler 300C
The biggest thing the 300 needs is a better rear end and a better interior. The exterior styling gave it "instant hit" power, but the interior is not good enough to give it staying power, as the sales figures are starting to show. An improved interior would help to keep sales steady until a complete redesign.

G37 Coupe Revealed
I think I much perfer the previous exterior design, but peraps this will grow on me. The power is certainly impressive.

Saturn releases Aura Green Line Pricing
I wouldn't be so sure the Aura will have "hybrid EPA drop." I've read owner reviews at Edmunds of people actually getting better-than-advertised MPG on the VUE GL.

Dell is pissing me off
I don't think one type of computer is really going to be that much better than the next. In the end, you're using most of the same components anyways. For instance, an Intel Core Duo in a Dell is going to be the same as a Core Duo in a Gateway, HP, etc. Most of the components aren't made by the company whose name is on the computer anyways. Example: I've seen two people say "Dell sucks, buy HP," while from my experience I would say "HP sucks, buy Dell." I have a Dell Latitude D820 and haven't had a single problem with it; my roommate has an HP laptop and is always having all sorts of problems with it. So really, I don't think one brand is really much better than any other. I'm sure some Dells have tons of problems, and I'm sure some computers from every brand have all sorts of trouble.
