1992 GMC Sierra SLE - $2500 (Lansdale, PA)
Link: craigslist Very, very tempting - that's one of my top two-tone color combinations, and the fact it has the blue cloth interior tops it off. The mileage though... 191k. Any info about the durability of this year's engine and trans?

GMC Terrain
This - I agree 100%. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on the GMC Terrain as a CUV. I'm hating on the name, as it implies something more. I wish GMC would have reserved it for something more suited for that name (actually, I wish they didn't use it at all and kept it for a true All Terrain package for their full-size pickups and SUVs). Acadia, Denali, Yukon are all national park names. As such, maybe they should have used that theme and went with Coronado, Glacier, Appalachian, or Saratoga? All are US national parks!! Hell I'd even say call it Rainier - how many people would remember the Buick outside of auto enthusiasts?

A V6? A Half ton?
So, since it looks like somebody ( ) wants to claim that '95 Tahoe, what about ROPOS? Pics? Details? Inquiring minds want to know...

Very nice of you to drop by I would too if I were to be in the Illinois area

08 Chargers
I would choose the 2012 over the 2006 design any day. While I "liked" the Charger when it debuted, the '12 version fixed a lot of issues I had with the styling and then I became a real fan of the Charger. Still, I'd take a Pontiac G8 GT over the Charger - even a 3 year old one

Nice to have you stop back in, Cort! Love that '79 Blazer poster. When at the Fall AACA show in Hershey almos two weeks ago, came across a vendor with a full-set of '75 Chevy dealership posters, including the color charts for cars and trucks and the upholstrey wheel for all models. Needless to say it was not a cheap set to purchase. Need the full story on the '89 Caprice purchase, please

GMC Terrain
Lucky you then, In areas of NJ & PA that I travel in, mall parking lots and soccer field parking lots are where these Terrains see duty. Not saying people don't use them in the same manner, but most of the Terrains I see are never covered in mud The name Terrain means more off-road adventure than what these CUVs imply. Not saying there not capable, but they're no Yukon in off-road prowess.

A V6? A Half ton?
What year, color and trim is the ROPOS? The same for the Tahoe (except we know it's a '95)?

GMC Terrain
It's nicknamed "Suburban Assault", which I think is perfect. I really wish GMC would have picked a better name for this than "Terrain". Terrain gives me the impression of going off-road, no holds barred type of vehicle. This CUV offering is more likely to be seen in the mall parking lot than out in the wild blue yonder I know it's been a runaway success for GMC, but I'd love to see a new, more appropriate name issued for the Gen 2 version.

This one? Link: Truckin' Took me two seconds to Google it

Totally not fair
Yes, pretty rough off-roading in that new rig. Reminds me more of a Jeep Wrangler or Grand Cherokee commercial, not something you'd see from GM. I like it!!

A V6? A Half ton?
Get in line bub.... Not to worry, if he were to sell it anytime in the next 3-5 years I'm sure you'd have the money first before I could even blink my eyes. Between a wife and two small children, I'm lucky to come up with $50-$100 for myself

Photography Thread
Look at you, with your fancy borders and up-close detail shots Mine were taken at the Philadelphia Zoo on Saturday. We came out of the Lion's area and I looked up and thought that with the sun shining through made the leaves look "on fire" or lit up. I wanted to capture that look versus the detail like yours (which are great, btw). The last one is a tree in my backyard that I've been meaning to photograph - looked better about a week or so ago. I'm going to try it again, this time in the morning sunlight (different angle). Thanks dfelt! Fall is by far my favorite season (if we got more snow maybe winter would be my fav). I love the cold, crisp mornings, the warm afternoons, and the cooler evenings. Thsi year we're being treated to a nice fall season in NJ, the too-cold and the too-hot (aka Indian summer) have not been as prevailant as in the past.

A V6? A Half ton?
Though it is not a Yukon GT 2-door, take care of this and maybe I'll be able to buy it from you in the future (not like you don't take care of your stuff ). That is when you're ready to part with it and I have cash

Next Generation Silverado to Debut in December
I wish, ocnblu!! That's all GM/Chevrolet want us to see at this time. I was hoping GMC News would have a similar article about the Sierra with its headlight, but nothing so far. So Oldsmoboi, about this special debut event. Is a member of CheersandGears attending? If not, want to send someone to cover this event if you get an invite from GM?
