  1. Design wise those were old and outdated. And already in and out of production.
  2. Would the 99 Gto Concept. Work as Both a Coupe, and Wagon sister vehicle to a Nomad wagon/Coupe?
  3. I'm thinking More in the Design sense. Designs that would sell. First 2000 Buick Lacrosse, and 2003 Chevrolet SS. Similar design themes, and Dimensions. Nice Op for Platform Sharing. 1999 Chevrolet Nomad. Sharp, unique Design theme. Design would transfer well to a Coupe Platform mate. 2004 Holden Torana. Crisp modern design.Build it on an AWD version of Delta 2. Would Fit nicely As an AWD sport compact.
  4. You guys are really missing the boat on what TRU FLEX really affords. If a car is a Hit GM won't be constrained to the capacity of just 1 plant. If a Car is a Dud GM won't be stuck with a Plants worth of them. Just Build a few of what's hot at the plant with the dud. It's Dynamic production. Build in quantities that they can sell. Not every plant will go Tru Flex anyway. Many will be Architecture specific. (Epsilon,Delta,Theta.....) Those plants won't need to be tru flex as they will be able to build any Vehicle on thier assigned architecture. (The whole interbuildability thing) For what this thread Has turned in to I regret starting it.
  5. I read GM could be on the hook for 5-6 billion in delphi retiree costs.

  7. It seems an incredibley tricky business. But It's better to be under capacity then over. Greater demand then supply.
  8. The Canadian Government kicked over hundreds of millions of dollars to GM this spring. The Understanding was that oshawa 2 would be retooled in 2007.
  9. G-8 - Pontiac has to have something Caprice - Basically Chevy equals Volume Monte Carlo- For what it and its Market are Zeta is the Fit. GTO- Shares platform With Monte Carlo 1 plant LGR style (multiple Bodies styles per line ) 350k Max capacity. I don't Believe in altering a Formula that is Succesfull. So I would Keep Impala Dimesionaly(sp?) , Layout, and price as close as possible to the Current formula. PHAT and stretched EP2 or Chi.
  10. Evoke seems a little Esoteric(?) to Me. It may draw a few " whats it called?" remarks. Is Astra wholely out of the Question?
  11. Hmm http://us.tnpv.net/2005/WKA200506/WKA2005062749937_pv.jpg
  12. That Makes Sense to me. If There is a RWD Caprice,Then Monte Carlo can Share that Architecture.
