  1. Delphi has had tiered pay since this contract Started.
  2. And I don't think that will get it done. Best case scenario. GM Buys out the oldtimers. The Current entry wage becomes rate. Employees pay a share of thier healthcare. Employees not bought out by GM get 401k instead of pension. Current pensioners are untouched.
  3. The Shame of it all would be for the Cash from a GMAC deal, to be used to pay off Kerkorian.(Dividend) When GM could be saved and Bancruptcy avoided with judicious use.
  4. You can figure why gm would be upset over the demise of gmx386 talk. "umm yeah give us these concessions and and abatements and we'll build the gmx386 here. " I did'nt know Kansas was so much like Canada.

  6. I think it will come down to which import one can pass U.S. standards with least investment.
  7. I think that's what they'll do. Import a position filler. I just hope its not the GMDAT. I don't think the Nubira/Lacetti's horrendous reliability rep(per Suzuki)will be solved till its on an up to date gm platform. Thats why I posted the potential Import options. If it were'nt for the cost, I think the swb Vectra would be just the Ticket. Call it ummm Aeon :) How could a SWB Aura not be a good thing. Especially in both 4 and 5 door configurations.
  8. And yet Gm Absurdly still gives a dividend.
  9. So what are Saturns options for a compact? The C&G Delta - Lordstown The GME Astra - could possibly be built cheaply in Gliwice Poland. (Old but updated platform) The GM Brasil Chevrolet Vectra- Inexpensive Import? (Old but updated platform) GME Vectra- Small midsize - Expensive to Import. (would be the Most Modern and Sophisticated option) Exspensive! What should the Price range on the Next gen saturn compact be? What Vehicles should it compete with?
  10. http://money.cnn.com/2005/12/12/Autos/funo...els/chevy_cool/ Gushing about the Next gen BU
  11. I think The turbo 2.8 or the 3.2 HF will get D.I. first. Here's a good read PDF. http://www.greenfleet.com.au/uploads/pdfs/...Olding%20SA.pdf http://www.investaustralia.gov.au/media/CS_MA_Mahle.pdf
  12. The problem with Hydrogen is its need for electricty to be extracted from water. How would the huge amounts of electricty be generated? Fossil fuels?
  13. I wonder where gm will move the C-flex robots to. Fairfax? Springhill? Bupyeong?
  14. So is this where we'll see the Production Aura, and outlook?
  15. If GM is to have a future the Delphi thing has to work out.
  16. Hmm You know I never liked the whole C&G underground thing. It seems contrary to the idea. I don't like the idea of secret societies. And dark hidden things.
  17. Seems this may be quite the monumental day a C&G. "Drove my Chevy to the Levee" But the Levee was dry" This thread has over seven thousand views since the 8th.
  18. And the gods saw that the board was wicked. And they did turn thier faces away. And said let us shun them. Let there be Famine and thirst upon them . :)
  19. It was really only a matter of time.
  20. This is irrelevant. But if the Delta Ion is dead. I would Rather see the swb Epsilon Vectra as Saturns Compact. Providing the production Aura is the 112 inch lwb, the concept was. If the swb Vectra could be sold priced below the Aura.
  21. I thought I heard Zagnut was considerd, but may have been previously trademarked.
  22. Out of date but there are codes here.Page 62 http://www.leetninjamonkeyhaxors.com/uploa...cleveland_e.pdf
  23. Thanks
  24. It's a confusing bit. And I don't think the translation is good. This part
  25. Northie, this should be the article with translation. http://translate.google.com/translate?u=ht...Flanguage_tools
