Well, are AWD sedans on the horizon for Buick? I know that Cadillac is going that route... it'd be a shame to not have FWD/AWD on the flagship Buick sedan.

Okay, some people might hit me here, but I'm interested in seeing a few of the imports on the list. I'm anxious to see the final outcome of the Camry--some nice pics, find out the specs. I think Toyota NAILED the interior, while the exterior, well, it has the same reaction as the current generation did when I first saw it--"Umm... no." I want to see the LS460 only because Lexus has been saying how it's going to get bold in styling. Let's see if they can live up to their words. The Enclave, well, I think is going to be stunning--I have faith in it and I believe it'll be a great successor to the Rendezvous and will help Buick continue on its path to success. Saturn Vue Green Line... I think it's going to be such a hit! I mean, take an SUV people like, make a hybrid out of it that GM DESPERATELY needs, and give it a great name (like the idea of green line and red line with Saturn)... think we're sitting on gold here. Camaro Concept... DUH... I may not be a big fan of sports cars, but even I was extremely upset when the Camaro went. Bring it on and kick some ass GM! BMW Z4... fan of the car, want to see the coupe and M roadster. Nissan Versa? I must have missed this one--what is that going to be?!

Well, I'm confident for 2007 we'll see the 6A in this car. I'd love to see the new numbers. Honestly, with the 6A put in this car, I'd like to see people complain... the car is just aces all around really.

LOL... I completely understand--I am the same way when it comes to the Simpsons... I'll pop in a season and say, "Oh, you have to just watch this episode... it's the best!" and as soon as it ends and the menu pops up, I'll see another title and say, "Oh, you just have to watch this one too--it's the BEST!" lol
-
I've heard nothing but good things about Family Guy but I just don't have the time to watch it. I haven't seen the Simpsons in years, except for on DVD ;) I guess I'll eventually catch up!

Suede dash is HOT! :)

Barney: I am so Krunchy the Klown. <belch!>

That's interesting--I've only watched the Italian language version of it. In English, in that scene the kids chant "USA! USA! USA!" In Italian, they chant, "Abbiamo vinto! Abbiamo vinto!" (we won, we won) I guess I should try watching some of the other languages :)

I understand what you mean zoom... But I agree with him on a few aspects... the style is not class-leading. But guess what? It was done intentionally. The engines are not "at best, average". The Northstar is a great engine... the 3800 however, is a joke in this vehicle. Then again, I understand why it was done. I love the Lucerne, but then again, I tend to like more conservative, upscale sedans. I'm not buying a car for exceptional handling.. I buy a car for a comfortable, quiet ride. This car will satisfy my needs 100%. If I want a little tech in my car, can get it here. If I want silence... got it. If I want a smooth ride, I know it'll be pillow soft. And for those days when I feel like bursting an eardrum, I'll just pump up the H/K stereo. Not to mention cooled seats--those have gotta be good for hemroids! LOL

I think this is one of those vehicles that won't really spark any enthusiasm into me until I see it in person. I mean, looking at the photos I'm like, "okay". But seeing things in person usually makes or breaks my opinions on something.

That is just so weird--so is it possible that both little circles on each side were just burnt out on a new car?! Weird. Well, can't say that I'm not happy--it adds just a tiny bit more to the style of the car--I was going to say the one large circle was just boring and a copy of all the Chevy's out there.
-
The Lucerne is bigger than the LeSabre was... and the LaCrosse is bigger than the Century/Regal was... not by much, but both are larger. Now, it gives people a tiny bit of flexibility--they can trade up to a bigger car, the Lucerne, or down to a smaller car, the LaCrosse. But the size shouldn't be an ENORMOUS difference. What I'd like to see is just a better use of the size of the cars--the LaCrosse should have more room inside it than it does, clearly. Cars that are 8 or even more inches shorter have equal or slightly more room in various areas of the car. Now, slightly off topic: When I first saw images of the LaCrosse taillamps, I noticed one large circle (the brake light) and two smaller circles. When seeing the car at night, the only portion of the light I saw illuminated was the large circle. Today, driving to work, it was cloudy yet no one around had their lights on as I checked because those two little circles looked illuminated?! Anyone know what's going on? I mean, the one I saw today was a CXS with the Chrome Appearance Option... and the one I saw months ago was a base CX... but I doubt there'd be a difference in the illumination. Are those two circles lit normally?

Wait.... so that's what the Aura would look like if God dropped a GIANT brick on it?! :o

Hmm... GM: Buick Lucerne CXS (or CXL V8 - haven't decided which yet only cause I like a slightly floaty ride) Ford: Lincoln Town Car (and MY GOD, they actually gave it a tachometer!) Chrysler: Jeep Grand Cherokee w/ 5.7Hemi Euro: BMW 330i Asian: Lexus GS300 Now, if I had to pick only one as my one and only vehicle... hmmm.. difficult--it's a toss betwen the Town Car or the BMW 330i. Very different cars--would love both for different reasons.
-
BV... funny you should mention that, I really was surprised when my friend came home with his new 2005 Red GTO and I asked him to turn on the lights--and saw white gauges!! Was VERY surprised. Then again, it's a Holden. Still thought they would have put it back to red.

OH MY GOD! PARTY POSSE!! YVAN EHT NIOJ :) And "I want a horn here, here, and here. You can never find a horn when you're angry. And it should play la cucaracha." Sixty8--you're right... I think I'm confusing that car voice with some other scene! :) Some classic eps: (dunno the actual ep titles) Flaming Moes Lisa Plays Hockey Homer Skips Out on Church ("I'm whizzing with the door open, and I love it!" "mmm... waffle runoff." How about all the eps with flashbacks--the one where Bart was born, the one where Lisa was born and she gets her first sax, and of course, the one where Maggie was born and Homer was branded the special "plague" ("uh, no sir, you mean the "plaque"), "Ah, yes, the special demotivational plaque, because don't forget, you're here forever." lol
-
Well, isn't that what they actually did?
-
Haha, so I guess 6'3" would be a little tight?

I love the Simpsons--I haven't watched the newer ones in a few years, but the older ones, primarily the first 10 seasons, were HYSTERICAL. I mean, if there was a touchy subject that people shouldn't bring, this show not only brought it up, it blew every possible aspect about it out of proportion so you couldn't help but laugh. My favorite thing is to show my Super-Earth-Conscious friend the episodes that involve some heavy Nature abuse LOL One of my fav scenes is Homer taking a test drive of a new electric car just to get a free gift for doing so. He takes the car out, everyone compliments how silent it is, and then he drives it off a peir and electrocutes all the fish and whales in the water LOL and then the car screams in a robotic voice, "Why, why was I programmed to feel pain?!"

Well, from what we have read here, the next gen CTS interior is going to be mindblowing. I can't wait! :) So, what are we looking at for the debut of this Camry? Early Spring maybe?
-
What I used to hate is a little thing like that--for example, the last gen malibu interior has white lighting for EVERYTHING, but the clock/station display on the radio, a bright blue. Or my fav, the slightly different shades in colors between the gauge colors (bluish/green) and the button colors (blue) in Buicks. What seems very nicely done is the Lucerne--it seems as though the gauges have been given a VERY nice deep bluish/turquoise look--and that all the buttons are illuminated exactly the same as well as radio and HVAC displays. It's a little attention to detail like that, that to me conveys a harmony within the interior of the car.
-
Uh oh, Fly, we may have spoken prematurely... if you look at the display where the temps are shown, it is not backlit green, but more of a whitish color. Maybe the buttons will be illuminated to match? They are not lit in these pictures.
-
OMG - Fly, you're f'in BRILLIANT for saying that--FOR YEARS I've been saying that about the gauges and the fugly green-lit buttons in the car. I am also talking about the quality of materials--the Camry's materials seem to be more upscale than the more-expensive entry-lux CTS. That to me is sad. Also, the layout of the CTS, although supposed to be sporty, is awkward and blocky in some areas--the Camry's, for it's purposes, flows beautifully imo. So, I'm comparing how well they were executed for their intentions. Not exactly a direct 1 on 1 comparo like I did with the Malibu/Impala/G6/LaCrosse vs. Camry (that's why I put it as a separate paragraph).
-
LOVE the gauges though :) Still wish they were LED lit <_<
-
It's horrible that the new Camry interior will beat out all of GMs sedans that compete with it in some fashion... the Impala, Malibu, G6, LaCrosse, and upcoming Aura. God this is going to be harsh (and I can bet I'll get yelled at for this), but I feel this interior is nicer than even the current CTS!!! I'm just talking about style-wise that is.
