  1. Can you get some real pictures of it, inside and out? I'd like to see real-life pictures of the Rainier, not just the GM shots.
  2. That's a shame to hear re: the 3800 performance. Granted it'd be a decent step up from my current engine, 3300 160hp V6, the car is bigger/heavier. I have just been feeling lately that the 160, although adequate has been subpar for my driving. I don't normally need a lot of power, but lately I've just been feeling like more would be a pleasure to have. I guess I really can't form my opinions until I drive the two engines in the LaCrosse, but still I feel like the 3.6 should have been standard... if Buick wants to go premium/luxury status, OHV engines just don't cut it well in today's market.
  3. I don't like the idea of Terraza staying around for Buick; I think that's all wrong.
  4. The moon is hysterical ;)
  5. I didn't think the review was terrible. I mean, what can you expect from badge engineering? It's not ground-breaking. It's not new and exciting. It's not powerful. It's barely sporty. It's just there. The interior I feel is so beautiful--especially the beige color. I like this interior much more than the Equinox... and I feel this will be a steady seller for Pontiac. Again, nothing ground-breaking. He was fair with the review--he did say "they fixed most of the probs I had with the interior".
  6. Empowah, great idea... it wouldn't cost much to offer like free oil changes for 1-2 years as well, and it's a wonderful little selling point. :)
  7. I like the LaCrosse's interior, but I stand by my two comments I've said in the past: Need real wood, and need to jazz up the center stack. Way too much unused space. Could have done something a little nicer with the climate control so it's not just a mish-mash of buttons--could have put maybe a dial for each temp control.
  8. Wow, Stace... I thought the Mustang was selling well!

I thought the current sedan was decent-looking, although I tend to like cars with conservative styling (*ahem, Buick, *cough*). Although the outside isn't so revolutionary, the inside is way behind something I'd want to look at. That giant tachometer behind the steering wheel, followed by a digital speedometer? Gimme one type or the other.
  10. I have to say, I see TONS of Impalas on the roads... people buy them on Long Island big time. I'll be proud to see the refresh as abundant in a few months :)

    GOOOO BUICK!

I'd be happy with the CXS trim name, as long as it provided a sportier equipment than is currently offered. I feel 240hp should be standard on the base, and they should throw a northstar in the CXS to output like 275hp. In the Lucerne, the Northstar should put out like 280-300hp. After all, the DTS will be getting more power in a couple of years (and they have an available engine of 291hp)

You have a point there... and I know two people with 2004 Priuseseses that have another excuse they bring up when I notice their fuel economy reads 43.8mpg: "Oh, well, we really bought it for the PZEV." Uh huh.

I couldn't find the vomit icon, so I'll have to settle for: :omfg: That interior is horrendous.
  15. I have to say, for the base version (the last pic being a red Impala LS), that's a generous piece of chrome they used on the back which definitely gives the car a more-upscale appearance than its base competitors.

    GOOOO BUICK!

    I'm here!
  17. Well, now I don't feel so guilty about not getting a 2005 LaCrosse :) I'll go get an `06 next August and have a better warranty. :) Oh yeah, welcome back everyone! Changed my name, but it's still me, Paulie1977! (kept it in the signature for a while)
