  1. It is probably a looks change to bridge to the next vehicle. The Acadia still sells well.
  2. Would Dodge get another car above the Charger then? Losing some bulk from the LX platform wouldn't be a bad thing. If they can make a mid-size RWD that can scale up rather than trying to squeeze a larger RWD platform down, I see that as a plus. That also leaves room under the Dart for a sub-compact.... unless Fiat intends to fill that spot.
  3. Ditto. Fix the charger and get a RWD platform (shared with Alfa probably) for the 200.
  4. Ok. In that case, the port injected 2.4 is out of production in cars.
  5. Yes, the Encore is smaller than the CX-5. Overall, the Encore is slightly larger than the Nissan Juke. I was unable to sit in the rear seat of the Juke and fit my knees in. I was quite comfortable in the Encore.
  6. Happy Birthday old man
  7. The 2.4 in the Malibu Eco is the Direct Injected version, not the Port Injected one.
  8. HAH! That's a good one..... I bitched at them for over a year to fix a MAJOR flaw in the last version of the forum software.... they told me I'd have to wait for the next version. When I'd ask when that would be? They would reply "when it's ready". The sad thing is, this is one of the best forum softwares out there. VBulletin's recent software changes have made that software not as good.
  9. After the contacts I made in NAIAS this year, you guys aren't going to have such easy guesses soon ;-)
  10. We've had 'em But, what did i get for it?
  11. Which Malibu are you talking about? The one that just went out of production?
  12. I don't write the software, guys. The gallery is the only option.
  13. The gearing has been massaged to mitigate the engine power.
  14. It will be a lot more than a mid-size sedan or coupe in a vehicle smaller than 98% of crossovers out there.
  15. Women generally don't want wagons. They want to sit high. That's why there is a CR-V and not a Civic wagon. Women purchase 55% of the vehicles out there, but they control over 70% of the purchases. Buick clearly knows who is wearing the pants in a majority of families with regard to vehicle purchase decisions.
  16. The Lacrosse goes back to GM in about 2 hours... and I'm really sad to see it go. I filled up the car the night before I left Detroit. A full tank gets you over 500 mile crusing range but I was a bit more hurried coming home and averaged 33mpg which cut the range back a bit. Power is softer than one might hope under hard acceleration, but in normal situations, it still rolls with a V6-like feel. The car that GM will be dropping off to replace it will be good for the Nor'easter that is predicted to hit here in the next 24 hours. Any guesses as to what it is?
  17. the ILX is a snoozefest... I had to go look up the current RDX to be able to visualize the "major" changes
  18. right click -> open link in new tab.
  19. I did some digging and it looks like the Subscription Manager app is broken. Let me get back to Pittsburgh to fix it.
