Chrysler News: Chrysler Shows A Plusher Side Of The 300

This is totally the car I would get if I were back in the market again for a lux sedan. Unfortunatly (sorta) the next vehicle will either have to be a truck or small CUV for Albert and I get the CR-V for a work vehicle. -

I had the downsized '83 Caprice with a 3.8..... I got out run by a VW Rabbit diesel of similar vintage. However, it got extremely good fuel economy on the highway for a full size car of that era, and with the size fuel tank it had, that gave it an excellent cruising range. Considering who originally bought it, my Great-Grandfather, it was perfect for him. Not in any hurry to get anywhere and wanting the best fuel economy he could get in a full size car.

You should be able to. The third one in that list isn't a picture file so you can't embed it, but if you click on "More Reply Options" next to "Post" below, you should have the full editor. I like the Cordamino, but the fender vents on the rear are extra fail to me. hmm for some reason i can see them now. anyway. yea those are fail. not a fan of the color, the grill, or the rims. I fixed it for you.

Drew Dowdell - CheersandGears.com After 30 years, the ever increasing subsidy for ethanol produced from corn has expired. When Congress adjourned for the year last week, they did not renew the ethanol subsidy that has cost taxpayers some $45 billion during its lifetime. Every gallon of ethanol pumped provided corn growers with a 45 cent subsidy. Most of the savings from ending the subsidy to go towards reducing the US's budget deficit. At the same time, a 54 cent per gallon tariff on ethanol imported from Brazil also expired. Brazil is twice as productive per acre of farm land by using sugar cane rather than corn. The expiration of the Brazilian ethanol tariff is unlikely to cause a rush of imported fuel as sugar prices in that country have spiked recently. Earlier this year Congress blocked EPA approval of E15 gasoline for use in all vehicles from 2001 and newer. E15 is a blend of 85% petroleum gasoline and 15% ethanol. Automakers unanimously protested the use of E15 in engines not designed for ethanol saying that the effect of the fuel on older engines could not be predicted. They did not want to be blamed for any engine failures caused by the new fuel. The ending of the subsidy clashes with a 2007 Congressional mandate that requires 15 billion gallons of bio-fuel be used in 2015 moving up to 36 billion gallons in 2022. GM News: 21 Week Vacation Coming To GM's Truck Plants

You know what would be both really nifty and really unique in the segment? A turbocharged, direct injected Atlas I-6. They were pushing close to 300 HP in N/A form. Direct injection and Turbo-charging would put them well into the Ecoboost's range. The larger displacement (over the Ford) would probably also make for better torque. Even if they had to drop it to 3.9 or so liters, it would still be worth it. The additional journal bearings that an I-6 has over a V6 should quell any concerns of "stress" that certain members here have regarding turbos. -

Drew Dowdell replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Site News and Feedback
No, not what I'm looking for. Go to the Forum Listing and look under Cadillac. It says "Excited by the thrills of the CTS? Interested in the upcoming ATS or XTS? Let's go! Let's live! Let's love every mile. The only way to travel, is Cadillac style." I need one of those for each of the above forums. -
Guys, I need some forum description suggestions for the following forums: Ford Lincoln Volvo Dodge Chrysler Ram Jeep Fisker Tesla Mercury They can be witty, but not derogatory.
