  2. Acura failed against the 5-series and E-class because even with all the added technology, it still looked like a Accord De Lux LS Brougham. Do you think anyone will ever mistake the XTS for anything but a Cadillac?
  3. or he just went under the fence
  4. Well then we have this beautiful new Cadillac XTS...oh... wait... right.... nevermind. Not RWD... and that clearly was a requirement
  5. An AWD Buick Lacrosse would be just as conducive to that end.
  6. It's like a VW VR6 engine but less extreme.
  7. I think they staggered the cylinder banks a little bit.
  8. Because you've driven the XTS right? Was that you in the video I shot of them loading it on the turntable? And are we going down the "It's gotta handle like an M3 or else it's crap" route again? As long as the XTS handles within the margin of it's typical driver's capabilities compared to the competition, it'll do fine.
  9. The FWD Lacrosse CXS is 58/42. An AWD CTS is 52/48. I would assume the AWD Lacrosse is somewhere in between that. (can't find the numbers)
  10. Well then what are Infiniti, Audi, and even BMW and Mercedes? They're not all M and AMG cars. There is nothing to the XTS suggesting that it wouldn't be a capable handler like an A8 or 7-Series with AWD.
  11. The car already took the hit on resale, that's why it's 22k.
  12. Again, this is a Fritz car that was designed when Zeta was dead to the U.S. That's why it's set up the way it is.
  13. In this case, I think it was more the platform they were doing it on. Back when they started designing this thing Zeta was dead to the US except for the Camaro. The only other option was to use EpsII.
  14. No. You can set the AWD in the Regal GS to send the majority of the torque to the rear wheels. It has 3 modes.
  15. If the Regal GS can have AWD with torque sent primarily to the rear, why can't the XTS?
  16. Oh right, because V12s are such misers in that regard. BMW has twin turbos, why can't Cadillac? The DI 3.6 has great low end torque even in it's current iterations. Even the 280hp version in the Lacrosse moves with much gusto.
  17. I'm guessing the spyshots are just the MCE. It's not time for a "GMT-1000" yet.
  18. I'm not having any trouble at all with the Camaro. It just goes where I point it. I have noticed that the traction control is a lot less nannying than the TC on the CTS. It will wait a lot longer to kick in.
  19. Sing it with me again guys, twin-turbo 3.6 liter V6. In the SEMA Camaro it had something like 465 horsepower. In case you hadn't noticed, Turbocharging is "in" again.
  20. That's a whole new RX? Geeze... who knew.
  21. I thought someone took the Jag..... We need to get some sort of inventory control software for your barn Camino.
  22. Fixed. The Enclave, though a few years old, can hold it's own. The Acura MDX and Lexus RX have just had their mid-cycle uglifications.
  23. What's left?
