  1. My financial situation has actually improved substantially since this whole thing started with a further jump in improvement coming shortly. If anything we're planning on spending more in the next two quarters.

  3. While all of that is most likely true, the "Toyota always builds reliable, safe, well engineered vehicles better than anyone else" reputation is gone.
