  1. Cash is king, but I think you're going to have a hard time finding a GMT800 for that money and those miles and that vintage. The reason I am looking at the Oldsmobile is because they took the biggest depreciation hit of anything in the GM stable.
  2. Parisianne, 6000, Safari, Transport, Aztek, Quad-4 GrandAms, Rental G6es, Rental Grand Prix, Sunbirds........this is what the general public know about Pontiac. Most don't know about the Solstice or the G8, or that even the Grand Am could have been had with a 5.3 V8.
  3. Try to contain yourself Camino... I did find this one with 49k miles for $2,990..... but it's a little on the old side.
  4. for that amount of money and 57k miles..... in an '02 or newer?
  5. I hope you're not teaching him abstinence only sex ed.... I have an ongoing war with banks and anyone who charges interest. All future vehicles for me will be cash only. Well the Avalanche was never an issue with parking. It's purely a cost issue and the amount of cash I can muster. Still more than I want to spend right now. And that Bravada will last a good long time especially at that price..... now if only my bonus would finally come through...
  6. well, I believe the seats do fold flat.... ..XD.
  7. Well, I also look at the Bravada as a stepping stone. I really need a vehicle like yesterday. If I could be like Rodger and drive around the Bravada for 6 - 8 months and then trade into an Avalanche, that would be ideal. The Bravada is much closer to being in reach for me right now. Keep in mind, either way, I'm paying cash.
  8. I had really crappy weather the whole time I had it... so I wasn't in any position to notice any difference. 10 you can't really measure without equipment anyway.
  9. or it was *really* $h!ty gas. I put regular in the SRX turbo I had and it ran fine.
  10. It's about 1/3rd the cost of an avalanche of the same vintage and same miles....... and that's what utility trailers are for.
  11. Did GM customer service contact you?
  12. I'm thinking more like for higher power yet lighter weight electric motors for vehicles..... The Tesla Roadster can already walk away from most other cars with a motor the size of a large watermelon... imagine being able to power it with something the size of a cantaloupe instead.
  13. Remember, there was going to almost zero styling differences between the Opel and the Saturn.
  14. Can you still get recall work done for free even if the recall was release years ago?
  15. lol, well, I need an SUV for towing and hauling right now. Old Avalanches just command too much money.
  16. They say when a deal sounds too good to be true, it often is. 2002 Bravada with AWD, 57k miles, leather heated seats, sunroof, CD, $7,995 Opinions?
  17. Well, not all E85 is made from corn.... unfortunately, most of it is due to the corn lobby getting it's pitchforks into energy legislation. E85 derived from algae or kelp is much more green than E85 from corn.
  18. The appropriate response to "I need the lyrics so I can sing" is not "you need more than lyrics dear"
  19. E85 is better suited to turbocharged engines of small displacement and high compression. The e85 vehicles out there are just a compromise right now.
  20. I don't think Camaro SS v. Fusion hybrid is a valid comparison. I think the hybrid should be seriously considered by anyone who is looking at a fairly well equipped V6 Fusion/Milan/Accord/Camry. You get almost V6 performance (lets be real here, this thing runs with most of the standard V6es from just 5 years ago), but get 41mpg city and 35mpg highway. Outside of the powertrain, it's just a family 4-door with leather, headed seats, NAV, sunroof, rear park camera/assist. If you just want good power (better than a standard 4-cylinder) but you don't care if you have the most power in the segment (no 280hp Nissan VQ here) and want good fuel economy.... then I highly recommend the Fusion Hybrid.
  21. Most advertising is cheezy.... .but that line is GREAT
  22. you don't know who you're missing...
  23. thick
