1. The people at the border are seeking asylum. The Geneva conventions and other international law dictates that we must treat those people in a certain manner.... blowing them up is certainly not one of the options. This also addresses your last lines of number 2. 2. Due Process is part of the bill of rights. Sorry, not sorry. 3. The whole reason we have Gitmo as a detention center is that if the prisoners were brought to the US mainland, they got certain constitutional protections. Allowing doctors to refuse to treat Trans patients... no other group is subject to this right of refusal. Banning of transgender people in the military.... they've been serving openly since the Obama administration with no issues. Why ban them now other than to be evil to a group of people you don't like? Don't give me the "medical costs" argument... the military spends more on Viagra than they do on general medical care for Trans members. Changed the terms of student loan forgiveness applications so that now 99% of all applications are denied. This is supposed to go to firefighters, police, ems, teachers and other people who provide public service. Not only that, the Trump admin is also trying to say that the loan companies should be protected from lawsuits for deceptive practices surrounding the program. Locked kids in cages. Locked sick kids in cages and denied them medical care resulting in their deaths Locked kids in cages while their parents got deported with no known way of reuniting the families "Lost" over 1,000 kids. Running concentration camps. Arresting people who offer water to people who might be illegal. 5th and 14th amendment. I don't need to go further. Done.

Everything is going to shit... just taking longer to get there. Plus he's doing stuff that is unnecessarily evil. At least we haven't gotten to land mining our own citizens yet though.... I mean, clinton totally would have done that. ?

Furthermore, the people who are coming here currently are requesting asylum. There are rules and regulations regarding how we have to handle them. To our own detriment. Also, anyone on US soil, regardless of citizenship status, is entitled to the protections of the constitution... which means due process. It is not up to a bank to decide the immigration status of a person. That's a job for a court. Furthermore, a person's "legality" can change, so how is a bank to know when a status changes one way or another? 3. Birthright citizenship is in the constitution/bill of rights. It's already been decided. Nothing for SCOTUS to do. You're the one who proposed concentration camps. We've already got those, and people are already dying in them.

All of the above ignores what is actually happening at the southern border, violates Geneva conventions, the US constitution, several international laws, and many U.S. laws.. my point has been missed in there somewhere.... increasing joblessness is going to cause more Mexicans to try and jump the border. It's not Mexicans that are causing the bulk of the immigration issue right now. its from countries further south than that. This tariff is like shooting yourself in the foot because your neighbor won't stop the guy two houses over from beating his wife.

The issue of FCA's sales reporting being suspect has been in the news for a while. I don't blame him for not wanting to take the fall for it if he truly didn't institute the practice.

The jobs will end up in India, Vietnam, or some other technologically developed country with cheap labor.... Not the US.

It's not just the cars that have final assembly in Mexico that will be affected... ALL cars will be affected.

At FCA, amid the backdrop of a proposed merger and its subsequent collapse, a lawsuit has been filed by Reid Bigland, head of the RAM brand and CEO of FCA Canada alleging that FCA has retaliated against Bigland for cooperating in a Federal prob of FCA's sales reporting process. Bigland joined Chrysler in 2006 and in turn took over the reigns of Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Dodge, eventually serving as CEO of FCA Canada. The lawsuit filed Wednesday accuses FCA of retaliation for not taking the fall for the sales reporting prob. Bigland claims his compensation has fallen by more than 90% and that the sales reporting process under scrutiny was one that he inherited. The probe of FCA's sales reporting started after two dealerships in Illinois filed a lawsuit alleging they were offered cash in return for reporting falsely inflated sales numbers. From that lawsuit, FCA was forced to recount and re-report its previous sales reports. The Security and Exchange Commission continued its investigation and Bigland cooperated. Bigland's position is that the sales reporting methods existed well before he assumed his roles, and he did nothing to change the reporting process already in place. Bigland claims that the SEC tried to settle with some admission of wrong-doing by the company and Bigland. Bigland declined to admit wrong doing and later sent a letter detailing the sales reporting practices to the SEC. Bigland sold his shares in the company in 2018 and he claims that FCA is withholding bonuses to pay for SEC fines if and when they come. That may be the case since is it based on a pre-supercruise platform. If so, then the XT5 may not get it either. However, I do remember Cadillac saying that the entire lineup would have SC available sometime in the very near future. I want to say MY 2021 or something (which would be the correct timing for the new Escalade)

Margins are slim for everyone in the industry. $3.6b in profit is doing okay.

It'll hit everyone though, not just FCA. And they'll all have to raise prices. NPR was doing a story today about how all of the wiring harnesses for cars are built in Mexico... it doesn't matter what brand.

Nissan is in no position to be acquiring anyone. They're in a worse position than FCA. FCA actually makes some profit.

The Trump foundation was forced to disband because it was found out to be using funds to buy portraits of trump for his golf courses, and is still under investigation by the Southern District of New York.
